The Belshes Hunt is an annual tradition held every year since 1752 by a secret organisation called the League of Sapien Hunters.
Belshes Estate had always been viewed with suspicion by the neighbouring townsfolk. A great estate of over 15,000 acres that employed no one from any external settlements, caused no traffic and grew no crops or reared no animals. It had always been this way. Belshes Estate held a dark, depraved secret that was known only by the few employees of the estate, 200 captive women and a secret league of a hundred men.It was June every year that the dirt roads to the estate were frequented by the Jaguars, Aston Martins and Range Rovers of the elite and the sky dotted with helicopters, bound for the grand house in the centre of the estates vast land. When the men arrived at the house they were shown to their rooms (spacious and luxurious) and then afforded every luxury they could think of caviar from the Baltic; vintage Champagne. In the few days leading up to the 1st of July the men would indulge themselves in the company of the other well-to-do gentlemen- playing cards, discussing cars, discussing the political matters of the day. Until the 1st, when at five minutes to 8 o’clock all the men donned their expensive coats and hats and exited through the great oak doors and waited in the expertly maintained courtyard.

At 8 o’clock exactly the Earl of Belshes Hall stepped out from the oak doors to the balcony from which he could be seen by all the assembled members of the League of Sapien Hunters. He spoke “It has been tradition for the Earl of Belshes to deliver the rules of the annual hunt every year since 1752. I will not deviate from such an obligation. Since the establishment of the League of Sapien Hunters in the house behind over 250 years ago, one hundred gentlemen have gathered here in the ancestral home of my family to hunt the immoral women they have captured over the year. However, there must be rules to this endeavour, the prey will be released in thirty minutes, you will be allowed to leave the house in two hours. You may catch as many women as you wish over the month though you are limited to a quota of one girl a day, this is to ensure that the competition lasts. Additionally, if a girl makes it over the limits of the estate they are free- you may not pursue them further. When the hunt is complete you may purchase one of your captives from the League for £1000 each. You may use any tools at your disposal and as a personal gift to every one of you, you will each be given a four-wheel drive pick-up truck for use around the estate. Now let us release our prey!”

As soon as the earl had finished his speech, a smaller side door to the hall’s basement was opened. Out of spilled women, naked and shivering in the morning chill. They walked barefoot onto the gravel of the driveway. The men examined them as a lion would its prey. The Earl spoke again “My beauties, you have a month to escape this estate. If not, you will be taken by one of these fine gentlemen or returned to the dungeons for another years” as these words fell from his mouth his mouth twinged a little- he took pleasure from his dungeons.

“When the horn sounds you may run” The Earl held his hand aloft, the girls dazed and confused had understood and readied themselves- they all knew they could not endure another year in the dungeon- the gentlemen focused their attention on the Earl, for the majority of them this was the highlight of their years. Destiny would not be able to jump down the cliff without breaking her leg, she elected to walk just off the track in the woods, thinking to herself there must be a track that off this wretched estate. Destiny was startled by a second horn blast that caused her to throw herself to the hard ground. Pine needles penetrated her entire naked body. She decided to rest, she sat down looking across the track pulling on her long red hair pulling pine needles and dirt from it.

Destiny walked someway into them, the road had disappeared it was just rock and grass now. Destiny decided then upon finding a place to sleep, it was beginning to get windy and her nipples were getting hard with the chill in the air. Destiny happened upon a cave and crawled into it. It was small and slimy but at least it was mostly dry and away from the wind and so Destiny curled herself and tried to sleep.
