Travis’s POV:

Just seeing Champ go down was not what I or his sisters wanted to see. I quickly get my phone out while trying to keep my fiance and my sister calm as they start to show tears.

“ Kaye call for a ambulance. Michelle keep Champ comfortable.” I exclaim to them both as they are looking at Heath as I continue “ Hey did you both hear me?”

They both look up at me with wide eyes.

“ What baby?” Kaye asks with confusion

“ I said call for a ambulance. Tell them to hurry up and get here.” I say as she gets up to call

“ Michelle keep him comfortable.” I say as I see her nod cradling him in her arms

I find Jack’s number to tell him what is going on. I find his number only to dial it. I let it ring as I get to one knee next to my brother and sister. Kaye is on the phone with 911 telling them we need assistance as there is a crowd gathering. After the 4th ring Jack answers saying hello.

“ Jack it’s Travis, hey you need to get everyone to the hospital it’s..it’s Heath.” I tell him as he chokes

“ What…what happened man?” Jack asks me being concerned

“ It’s his heart, Kaye called 911 and I hear the sirens coming now.” I tell him as I hear him yell to everyone there

“ Ok Travis we will be there soon. Make sure you or one of the girls ride with Heath. Keep talking to him.” He tells me as I remember what Mom and Michelle told me about keeping him aware

“ I will see you soon.” I say as we hang up

I look at my sister holding our brother. She is already talking to him telling him to stay strong and come back to his family that needs him. It’s not long that I hear a man yell for the crowd to move out of the way. I turn to see the paramedics coming quickly. They reach us telling Michelle and I to move. Kaye comes to me with tears as does my sister. I hold them close to me as we watch them help Heath. After a few minutes he is put on a gurney and rolled to their ambulance. We follow as I ask if one of us can ride with him. They look at us then nod. I tell Michelle to go as she nods with tears. Once in the back and on their way I take Kaye’s right hand to lead her to Heath’s car.

I made it to the hospital just a few minutes after the ambulance arrived. Kaye and I meet Michelle in the waiting room as she told us Heath was being checked out. She was crying as we sat to wait.

“ Travis we can’t lose him.” My big sister tells me as I try to stay strong

“ We won’t Shellie as Heath is a strong guy.” I tell her as she nods

“ Baby you are being so brave.” Kaye tells me as I turn to look at her on my right

“ I…I have to babe as I have to be strong for the family now. Heath maybe the heart of this family, but we as a family need to be strong for him now.” I state as they both nod

It’s about 15 minutes later when the family show up. Each rush over to us with deep concern.

“ Where is he Travis? Please tell us he is alright.” Diamond asks me as I stand up going to her

“ Sis we don’t know yet. No one has come out yet.” I say as mom goes to the admissions desk

“ Travis tell us what happened?” Adam asks as I nod hearing my mom raise hell

I started telling everyone about all we did, we started by going bowling then going to watch a movie. I told them we were window shopping when he just collapse saying it was his heart. Karen and the boys were crying as she came up to me.

“ Uncle Travie is daddy going to be alright?” She asks me through tear filled eyes

“ Yes honey I am sure he will be.” I tell her as Kaye picks our niece up as the boys Lil Greg and Dakota come up to me to be picked up

“ So you all just relaxed besides the bowling moment?” Momma Ellie asks us

“ Yes, but we don’t know the reason as Heath just claimed his heart before fainting.” Michelle says as Jasmine and Hannah go to her

“ Yes we know the reason Shellie as I had a suspension as Diamond and I checked before coming.” Jasmine says as her words shock us

“ How do you know sis?” Kaye asks with tears of concern

“ He has a pill container that has the days on it and we checked before coming and the last one was taken the day before Abs left for three days.” Hannah says as Adam gasps

“ What? You mean he was more worried about me then himself?” He asks very worried

“ Yes honey you know our brother. He didn’t get hardly any sleep those nights you were away.” Michelle says breaking the comfort hugs Jasmine and Hannah was giving her to go to him

“ Dammit I am going to kick his butt and I wish I could kick my own for doing this to him.” Adam says as Shellie embraces him

“ No baby as it shows he will do everything to find us now or keep us together and happy as a family. Look the cruise and the Disney vacation should of shown that.” Michelle says as I think back

She’s right as he was being a brother to me after that fight we had, or should I say the ass whooping I received from him. It’s about that moment mom comes over with Heath’s doctor.

“ Ok everyone we have Heath stable. He will be just fine all he needs is rest.” She says as we all sigh

“ Where’s my daddy?” Karen asks as the doctor looks at her

“ He is in a private room asleep honey.” The doctor says as Karen wants down

Kaye let’s our niece down as she walks over to the doctor to look up at her.

“ What room is daddy in?” Karen asks as the doctor looks at us all before my strong niece continues “ Well what room our daddy in?”

At that moment Lil Greg and Dakota want down. I let them down as they go stand with their sister. Karen is not backing down as I feel that love she has for Heath just flow from her.

“ He is in room 301 on the 3rd floor but….” The doctor says but is cut off

“ Come on baby brothers we have a daddy to fix.” Karen says taking both her brother’s hands

We watch as she leads them to the elevator.

“ Karen what are you doing sweetie?” Tiffany asks being very concerned

“ Going to see daddy. Not waiting for later.” Karen says loudly as we are all wide eyed

“ Honey wait up.” Tiffany says as she makes her way followed by everyone as I see Karen reach for the up button

“ Then hurry up mommy Tiffy.” Dakota says as she runs up to pick him up

I take Kaye’s right hand to take the other elevator that Jack, Sierra, and Mandy take. Once inside we go up to see our brother that we all love.

I was in the hospital for two days making today Wednesday. I hated hospitals, but I knew I had to go after collapsing in front of my siblings. I am in my recliner relaxing as the women in the family start arguing on who is going to take care of me as my doctor told me I was not to do anything that would wear my body out. It’s around 1 o’clock in the afternoon as my godmothers, moms, sisters, and fiancees are all arguing.Travis, Adam, and Jacman are in the kitchen staying out of it as I just listen to them all.

“ No we are going to take care of Heath.” My mom says for all the moms as I see them standing as a pack

“ No mom we are.” Michelle says as Kaye, Sierra, and Mandy stand by her

“ Hey we are his women so we get to take care of him.” Diamond says as my other three loves nod in unison

It’s not long that I see the top of heads come around the couch. Karen and Lil Heath are carrying a tray of food over to me. They place it on my lap with a smile as I see Dakota carrying the salt and pepper shakers as Lil Greg is following with a glass of orange juice as Batman follows them. After they set me up with lunch they stand in front of me smiling as they out thought all the adults as we then hear more arguing.

“ Hey stop it as daddy can’t have no stress.” Karen says after turning placing her hands on her hips

They all shut up to only look at Karen and the boys standing in front of the chair.

“ Karen what the heck baby girl?” Tiffany says as Karen stays in her spot

“ Mommy we will take care of daddy since you all can’t decide.” Karen says as I chuckle as I eat

“ Honey we just trying to figure out who takes care of your daddy.” Momma Faye says to her granddaughter

“ Well grammy as we see it that you all can not just one.” Karen says getting all the women to look from us to each other

They look back at us with smiles.

“ Ok baby girl your right.” Momma Ellie says as each of them come over to give the kids hugs as well as myself

“ Good now daddy can our uncles take us to get a puppy for Heathie and I?” Karen asks as I chuckle knowing something was up

“ I should of knew this was coming.” I say as the kids laugh

“ Hey bro we don’t mind.” Jack says as I turn to see my brothers standing behind the couch

I look at my kids to see their pleading eyes shine so bright as does Lil Heath’s.

“ Ok they can take you to get a puppy, but you have to be good the whole time ok.” I say as the kids smile

“ We will daddy, come on guys.” Karen says taking all their hands and go to their uncles as Karen continues “ We are ready Uncle Adam.”

“ Ok honey let me get my keys.” Adam says as he goes to the key rack

“ Hey let’s take two cars. The boys can come with me as you and Travis take Karen.” Jack says as Adam turns to look at him

“ You sure bro?” Adam asks as I see Jack nod

“ Yep that way you don’t have to go all over for this puppy or that one.” Jack says making no sense but that was my brother for you

“ Ok man who else is going?” Adam asks as I see Michelle and Kaye go to Adam and Travis

“ We are baby we will sit in back with our niece.” Michelle says as Adam smiles with a nod as Kaye hugs Travis

“ We’re going with Jack then.” Sierra says as her and Mandy go to Jack and the boys

It’s after that just minutes later that I watch them leave. I have to say my daughter sure is growing up since she has been here and getting smarter. I see Jasmine and my loves get their purses as Jasmine gets her keys.
