She gave me her number after we dressed some time later and we walked back to the party. I called her at the end of the summer, but her parent’s said she was out. I left my name and number, but didn’t hear from her until a few weeks later. I saw her a few years later when I showed up at her college graduation. I took her out to dinner and later back to my hotel room. We fucked in the shower, she wasn’t as tight as I remembered her first time with me was, but I still came hard inside a while later.
I haven’t seen her since, but now, with looking at Rebecca from a far, she looks so much like that girl, that it’s uncanny. I get all my files together, and go to the bathroom to jerk off from my thoughts about that girl before we head downstairs to the conference room.
I introduced Rebecca to Greg and his ‘right-hand man’ as he calls him, Walter Garrett. Rebecca shakes each of the men’s hands and smiles warmly. I smile at Greg and we all sit down at the table to discuss different matters after we catch up quickly. I send Rebecca out first to order us each drinks as we don’t like the waiter’s and waitress’s to come into the room during our meetings. Once she exits the room, I turn to Greg who has been smiling from ear to ear when he first saw Rebecca.
“She is a pretty little thing, isn’t she Carl?” he asks chuckling.
“Yes, she is. And don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten about the good ol’ days from college. I think I may get to add her name to my list of special girls.” I raise my eyebrows at Greg and he laughs.
“Really now? Wow, I wouldn’t have thought of that about her,” he chuckles again.
The door opens and Rebecca comes in with a tray of our drinks. “Here you go, Carl,” she says smiling. “Anything else before we start?” she asks.
“No dear,” Greg says and hands her his credit card. “Tell the bartender to go ahead and take a $20 tip from me for this round.” Rebecca nods and walks out with the tray and the card.
“Well, you sure are trying to woo her, aren’t you?” I ask Greg.
“Well you know women are amazed at how much a man will tip a barkeep or waitress.”
“Yes, too bad you tip like shit in front of Frances, isn’t that right?” I laugh along with Walter, and from his laughs, I’m sure he’s been out with Greg and his wife Frances once or twice from his laughs.
“Oh shut up, Carl.” Greg laughs. “I’m the one who taught you to tip well. So tell me, you going to try to tap that ass, Carl? Or are you going to take the higher road and be civil this weekend?”
“Not sure yet, I am not even sure she’s really a virgin, it’s just a guess.” I took a sip of my whiskey and soda water and smile at Walter. “You ever have been with a virgin, Walter?”
“No sir,” he laughs. “I haven’t had the pleasure.” We chuckled again and the door opens, Rebecca walks in and hands Greg his card.
“Thank you, Miss Stephan,” he nods and smiles at us, “let’s get to business now, shall we?”
We discuss many matters over the next hour and then decide to break for dinner. I lead Rebecca to the elevator and we go up to our rooms. “Alright, Rebecca…” I hold her hand after we enter the room and for some reason, I can’t let go. “Get dressed in something sexy….” I whisper to her. Her eyes open wide. “After listening to that self righteous ass….I feel the need to show you off to him and rub his nose in the fact that I have such a beautiful secretary.” I kiss her hand and let go.
She laughs a little nervously and heads to her room. “Okay, sir. I’ll see what I can find that will make your friend insanely jealous.”
I take a quick shower and get in a blue suit that is my favorite and one that I know that Rebecca likes because she always waits a moment before saying hello to me when she sees me in it. I comb back my hair, noticing that once again my hair line is receding a bit more, damn it, before I know it, women will be able to tell that I am 32.
I walk out of the bathroom and go to the the bar. I pour myself a glass of wine and when the door to Rebecca’s room, I look up. She walks out in the cocktail dress that I had asked Ann to hold for me.
“Wow,” I say under my breath. She walks out further and turns around.
“Do you think your old college buddy will drool over me now?” She smiles at me.
“Damn…I think his jaw will drop to the floor.” I take a drink of the wine and continue to look her up and down. “You look…..wow…..you look great, Rebecca.”
“Thank you…but I think I’ll need a glass of wine if you want me to leave the room like this.” I smile and pour her a glass and walk to her. She drinks it down fast and then hands me the glass back. “Thank you, I needed that.” I walk away and put the glass in the small counter top dish washer. I look back at her and watch as she crosses the room and gets her purse. “You surprised that I’m dressed in this?”
“Yes…I am.” I admit.
“I bought it with my second paycheck. I wanted that dress so bad, I just had to get it. And when I heard we were going to stay here, I figured I may as well bring a nice dress for tonight.”
“Well, I’m glad you brought this dress because you look so beautiful……may I?” I asked giving her my arm.
She smiles and nods. “Yes, you may.”
We leave the room and go down the elevator and go to the restaurant to meet with Greg and Walter. Greg looks shocked when we walk up to the table and I help Rebecca into her seat. She nods to Greg and Walter and smiles up at me as I begin to sit down. “Thank you, Carl.”
The waiter comes up and takes our orders and smiles at Rebecca as he walks away. Greg begins speaking to Walter about making sure his car was filled with gas in the morning for the drive home, I lean over and whisper in Rebecca’s ear, “You look beautiful by the way.”
She smiles a I lean back and she blushes.
Our food arrives and Greg and I talk business as we eat. After our final course we all order dessert and Walter and Rebecca laugh as we tell them of a story from when we were in college and what happened when we pledged for our fraternity.
I smile at Rebecca and she smiles back, but then turns to Greg. “Would you like to dance before dessert arrives?” she asks.
“Why yes, I don’t think I’ve ever been asked by such a lovely lady before to dance.” He stands up and takes her hand and they walk out to the dance floor together. I watch and envy him as they dance slowly together to the band’s music. A few minutes pass and I watch as his hand slowly trails down her side as they dance.
They turn around together and I see in her face that she isn’t happy that he is taking advantage of their situation. I excuse myself from Walter and walk to them and ask Greg if I can cut in.
“Alright,” Greg laughs. “I guess I may as well, after all, you’re the one who found her.” He smiles and bows to her. “Thank you, Miss Stephan.”
Greg give me a hard look then turns and walks back to the table. I wait a few moments to make sure he sits down but Rebecca takes my hands in hers. “You want to dance with me or not?” her smile is inviting.
I hold her side and her hand in mine and we begin to sway back and forth to the music the band is playing. She leans her mouth up to my ear and whispers, “Thank you, Carl. This has been such a great day so far.” She lays her head on my shoulder and we continue dancing through the song. When it begins to finish up, I spin her around and dip her, her hair swaying around. When I pull her up, her lips come close to mine and I almost kiss her. I hold her close to me, our bodies pressed against each other. The audience around applauds for the band. We stand there, face to face, staring. I clear my throat and she smiles, blushing again.
I escort her back to our table and before we sit down, Rebecca says she has to use the ladies room, I point in the direction and she walks off. Greg, Walter and I sit down and the waiter brings us our desserts. I lean over to Greg before he puts a bit of apple pie into his mouth and whisper to him, “You wait until she comes back, apologize to her that you have to go…and I want you to go back to your hotel room, call Fran, and think about how you’ve been an ass tonight. Got it?”
Greg leans back in his chair and takes a deep breath. “Alright, I understand.” He looks around and then leans back in. “If you want to say that you two are dating or some shit like that, then fine!” his voice low and harsh. “But you don’t have to treat me like I’m a fucking jerk in–”
“These aren’t the good ol’ days, Greg!” I shoot back. “You are married…you have a business to run. You treat someone like Rebecca with respect, not like a piece of ass!”
Rebecca comes back from the bathroom and sits down. As she begins to take a bit from the cheesecake she had ordered, Greg clears his throat. “So sorry, Miss Stephan…Carl, I must go now. It is late. I’ll meet you in the morning to finish up the paperwork, Carl. You two have a good night.” He stands up and I shake his hand.
