Literotic asexstories – A Lost Daughter Ch. 26 by GUIWriter577,GUIWriter577 So many things were racing through my mind that I was having a hard time tracking what I should be concerned about first. The number of questions that Hannah was going to have were almost too numerous, and too worrying to categorize. I couldn’t even focus on one to develop a believable lie before another one popped up to elicit another mental panic.
When did you start smoking? You’re smoking while you’re pregnant!? Why is there another woman staying in your room? Who is she? What is that giant glass pipe next to the bed? If she’s staying in the guest room, where are you staying? Where do you sleep?
I needed to group up with my ladies and develop answers to these questions immediately, but as Sienna began to lead Hannah around the house for an impromptu tour, I knew that there was no time. She also seemed totally at-ease, not at all freaking out about all the worries that were currently tormenting me. This was strange, because she knew as well as I did that we teetered on the edge of drawing way too much attention to our current lifestyle. Additionally, the last people we wanted in our business were her ‘holier-than-thou’ adoptive parents on some sort of moral crusade to ‘take their daughter back’ from our den of sin.
I watched and waited for the questions to begin, starting with Sienna introducing her to Kayla. Sienna knocked on her door and opened it after hearing a ‘you can open it’ from the other side. Sienna introduced her sister to her ‘friend’ and ‘roommate’ Kayla, which seemed to go well. Thankfully Kayla hadn’t been in the middle of a giant bong hit or else it might’ve been a bit harder to ignore. Sienna breezily explained that she mostly slept on the couch these days because of how comfortable it was and how much she liked falling asleep while watching TV and it seemed to pacify any burgeoning questions the naïve redhead might’ve had.
Amber met the two teens at the door, most likely already on her way to see what the fuss was about. Again, a fairly bland introduction and official meeting between the two parties commenced without any major issues. As always Amber exercised her amazing warmth and bedside manner to instantly win her over and generate a broad smile on Hannah’s face. I wished I could learn how she did that, remembering my slightly awkward handshake minutes earlier.
A quick motion towards the bathroom, laundry room, and storage closet and the tour was essentially complete. Sienna seemed be waiting for a response from Hannah, but Hannah appeared to be waiting for the same from Sienna.
“Are you sure I can stay? It seems like maybe there isn’t enough room,” Hannah asked meekly.
Sienna laughed and bonked herself on the forehead with her palm in a display of acknowledging her absentmindedness.
“The couch is huge! We can sleep on either side and still have enough room between us, trust me,” she said, motioning towards the couch happily.
This seemed to elicit a genuine smile from Hannah, who appeared relieved to be comforted by a friendly and familiar face.
Funnily enough, it was Sienna whose face fell next and I wondered which subject she was about to broach that was giving her pause. I considered interrupting and trying to arrange an emergency meeting of the minds but knew that it would generate more suspicion than anything. Instead, I allowed Sienna to do her thing, trusting that she knew what she was doing.
“So, I have to tell you something,” she began.
My heart began to race and the butterflies in my stomach seemed to begin fluttering all at once.
“You probably noticed the ashtrays,” she added.
Hannah scanned the coffee table again, nodding to herself as she took in the overflowing cigarette butts and ash for the second time.
“You smoke now?” she asked.
“Yes, I smoke. I’m not going to apologize for it, and I don’t want to quit, but I want to be upfront with you about it. I smoke, and I’m going to be smoking while you’re here so if that’s something that is going to upset you and you don’t want to stay here as a result, we should probably get that out of the way,” Sienna explained resolutely.
Hannah was visibly uncomfortable by the subject and being put on the spot and I had to admit that I felt kind of bad for the poor girl. She was clearly totally out of her depth and unaccustomed to being in opposition to her sister about anything. It had been very clear that there was some ‘hero worship’ energy between them, so this must’ve been a crisis of faith for her in some regards.
“Um, can I ask you about it?” she finally squeaked.
“Sure, what do you want to know?”
“When did you start? And why?” Hannah asked, avoiding eye-contact.
“Pretty much as soon as I moved in here. And I did it because I could, and my mom smokes and she seemed to enjoy it. And why not? I was just so tired of everything being off-limits to me so the first chance I had to do something that Ben and Julia would disapprove of I went for it. And honestly? I don’t regret it. I like it and life is too fucking short to spend it scared of everything all the time,” Sienna ranted.
Her tone had raised in pitch and intensity as she spoke and by the end of it, it had begun to sound like a half-time speech as she picked up steam. I was honestly pretty impressed by her passion, and figured she’d given one of two of those to her fellow athletes while in school.
“But shouldn’t you quit while you’re pregnant, at least?” Hannah asked.
“Actually, the dangers of quitting smoking during pregnancy usually outweigh the dangers of continuing to smoke due to increased weight-gain for the mother and child and increased stress which is very harmful to the baby. Mom’s a nurse and explained how much bullshit there is out there about it. I was going to vape while I was pregnant but after learning that I just didn’t see a point,” Sienna stated matter-of-factly.
I looked over to see Amber practically beaming with pride at hearing her daughter spew potentially misleading information in defense of continuing to smoke. Obviously, she and I both knew that Sienna would’ve taken any excuse to avoid having to quit, but it was clear that Amber was having a ‘mother’ moment hearing her own words come out of her daughter’s mouth as gospel.
Hannah seemed to be wrestling with what to ask next, clearly feeling like she was on the backfoot and uncomfortable with how oppositional Sienna was being. Again, I felt a pang of guilt hit me as she swallowed and seemed to shrink into herself.
“Sorry, I’m not trying to judge you. I just, I was curious,” she replied.
Thankfully this seemed to signal Sienna to switch back into comforting big-sister mode, which brought with it a hug and several encouraging statements about how much she loved her and how happy she was to see her. I wasn’t convinced that it was enough to stamp out the contentious air of the previous interaction, but it was certainly nice to see them attempting to reach an understanding. It was very obviously important to Sienna to maintain a relationship with her younger sister, and I didn’t want her to have to cut her off like Ben and Julia just to maintain her new life.
“Anyone hungry?” I asked, hoping to brighten the mood.
“Me!” Sienna exclaimed.
“Of course you are, you’re eating for two! But what about your sister, are you hungry Hannah?” I asked, really wanting to break the ice between us.
“Um, yeah, but,” she began.
“But nothing, we can have whatever you want. You’re a guest in our home and we want to make you feel welcomed,” I cut her off before she began to invalidate her needs again.
The inherent guilt that her parents had drilled into her was truly awful and I wanted to do as much as I could in my limited time to diminish it. I also wanted to ingratiate myself to the girl, as I knew that having her like me might prevent her from gossiping about us back home. She seemed to relent under the assault of my overwhelmingly accommodating demeanor, smiling despite herself.
“Hannah lovespizza,” Sienna proclaimed conspiratorially.
“Sienna! You make it sound so bad! Plus, you don’t need to buy me dinner I would be fine with whatever,” she replied while her face burned red.
“She loves it! Ben and Julia only allowed her to have pizza on her birthday, but she’s been getting it every year since she could say the word ‘pizza’!” Sienna continued tormenting her younger sibling.
Hannah’s face just burned a darker shade of red, combining with the red of her hair and freckles to make her appear as if she were about to burst into flames. I couldn’t help but chuckle, the sibling teasing about something as innocuous as pizza feeling very silly considering all that simmered under this veneer of relative normalcy.
“Fine, yes, I love pizza, you got me,” she admitted finally.
She seemed utterly deflated having to admit it though, which pushed me into an even harder chuckle. Our laughter caused Kayla to peer out of her doorway with a quizzical look on her face.
“Hannah loves pizza,” Sienna remarked through a snort of laughter.
When Kayla predictably didn’t understand the silliness of the moment it sent Sienna and I into near uproarious laughter. I knew it was a lot of the anxiety and discomfort of the moment bleeding out of me in the form of humor, but it still felt good. After wiping my eyes and getting a hold of myself I was finally able to speak.
“Let’s get some damn pizza then, what the Hell are we doing with our lives?” I asked playfully.
I watched again as Hannah smiled despite herself, and I wondered if she was encouraged not to show happiness or something while living at home. It seemed like just expressing joy was something that elicited guilt. I hoped I could help her loosen up a bit, which I was usually quite good at. And truthfully, pizza sounded awesome, and I hadn’t eaten since I’d had a bagel nearly 6 hours ago.
I whipped out my phone and began scrolling through my contacts for my favorite local pizza place while asking everyone what they wanted. It turned out Hannah was a lover of the Hawaiian pizza, which garnered some more good-natured ribbing from Sienna. This time, however, Hannah was able to join in on the laugh a little more as it had clearly been a running joke between them that probably offered some nostalgia and normalcy.
We sat in the living room together after that, joking and talking and waiting for the pizza to be delivered. Kayla joined after about 20 minutes, and it seemed she had a good sense for how to make Hannah feel comfortable as well. It occurred to me that at no point during the 30 minutes it took for the pizza to arrive, did Amber, Sienna, or Kayla light up a cigarette. Part of me was surprised, but the other part longed to see her face as all three of my gorgeous angels filled the room with smoke. Secretly, I hoped she’d ask to try it. But there was no way in Hell I could possibly end up being that lucky, could I?
After everyone was done eating and the mood calmed down and mellowed out, Amber was the first to do it. She grabbed the pack of Newports from the coffee table and lit herself up. I noticed that the conversation between Sienna and Hannah paused a moment as Sienna watched her mother exhale a stream of smoke contentedly. Hannah was clearly trying not to notice, and I knew she simply did not want to call any more attention to herself about this particular topic.
Kayla was next, sparking up a Camel Crush and contributing her own cloud of smoke to the increasingly hazy room. Finally, Sienna could hold out no longer and the moment of truth was upon us. She reached out and grabbed the pack of Newports from the coffee table and lit herself up. I paid particular attention to Hannah, who stole a glance or two at her big sister while trying to pretend that she wasn’t. I wondered what kind of shock it was to see her super athlete idol of a sibling smoking a cigarette while heavily pregnant right next to her.
I felt my loins stir as I noticed that they were seated very close to one another, and the sick thrill of it reverberated inside the dark confines of my deeper consciousness. They were both sitting half facing one another with their feet pulled up onto the couch with not even a cushion between them. Sienna was taking a strong drag while looking at her sister, waiting for them to make eye-contact and an almost inevitable question or two to come from her bewildered sibling. I waited right along with her, wondering what in the Hell was going to happen, if anything.
Then Sienna did something that I hadn’t been expecting. Something that made no sense at all. She pursed her lips and exhaled right in Hannah’s face. I watched in shock as the stream of smoke contacted her face and bathed her in a cloud. Hannah’s face scrunched up and she squinted, turning away from the smoke, and looking utterly astonished. It probably wasn’t far from the same look that was on my own face as I struggled to comprehend what I was witnessing.
After Sienna had completed her thick exhale and Hannah had coughed a few times in protest, she finally found her voice enough to speak.
“Why did you do that?” she asked with more force than I had heard from her at any point thus far.
“Because you need to loosen up, live a little,” Sienna replied haughtily.
There was a bit of a ‘mean girls’ vibe to her words that struck me as dangerously catty.
“What do you mean?” Hannah shot back defensively.
“I mean stop being Ben and Julia’s little pet and think for yourself. They aren’t here and you aren’t a baby anymore. Stop acting like you’re too good or too sweet, I know you Hann, and I know we’ve talked about wanting to break free and have some fun. This is your chance, so stop fucking wasting it,” Sienna spat.
Hannah was now full-on ‘deer-in-the-headlights’ frozen. Before she even had a chance to compose a response, Sienna was already exhaling another thick stream of smoke in her face. This time Hannah seemed to be more prepared, leaning away and shielding her face with her hands.
“Stop it, why do you keep doing that?” she asked again.
“I just told you, so you’ll loosen up and stop being a prude,” Sienna replied.
Again, Hannah appeared completely incapable of managing the situation, something that I could honestly relate to as I watched things unfold from the recliner a few feet away.
“How? I don’t know what you want me to do,” Hannah replied finally.
And then there it was. I saw it on Sienna’s face immediately. The exact response she had been trying to provoke. The exact question she had been wanting to answer. Her devious smile and the gleam in her eye were so reminiscent of Amber that I felt an uncanny sense of déjà vu sweep over me. As had been the case so many times in the past, all I could do was sit back and bear witness to a level of cunning that left me speechless.
“Try it,” came Sienna’s simple reply.
Hannah didn’t have to wait long to wonder what ‘it’ was, Sienna was offering her half-smoked cigarette to her before she could respond.
Hannah’s face scrunched up, she was clearly hoping to magically disappear or teleport to anywhere other than that couch at that moment in time.
“I can’t,” she whispered.
“Just try it, you’ll like it. I want you to smoke with me. I want you to be able to feel how good it is with me, please Hannah,” Sienna pressed.
She was going full-on manipulation and peer-pressure. In fact, I was fairly certain that she would say or do anything it took to make her sister try it. There was no way out of this for Hannah, aside from running out the front door and never coming back. But that was clearly not something she had in her, so in essence, I knew it was check-mate. The amount of influence Sienna had and the level she was willing to go to in order to make Hannah do what she wanted was beyond anything her naïve sister could possibly resist. Her squirming under the pressure of the moment was reminiscent of the futile resistance a gazelle offered after being caught within the jaws of a lion.
“Are you serious?” Hannah asked.
“Yes, I want you to smoke with me. I wouldn’t tell you to do something if I didn’t think you’d like it. It helps with stress, anxiety, when I’m having trouble sleeping, everything. You need to try it, seriously,” Sienna pressed even harder.
It was such a naked display of manipulation and strong-armed peer-pressure that it kind of gave me chills. This was something that would work on a naïve, sheltered, suppressed teenager, and only coming from a similarly aged peer whom they wanted to fit in with. This was a silver bullet capable of only defeating this particular foe at this particular time and would sound absolutely ridiculous in all other situations. But here we were.
“Here, I’ll do it for you, just open your mouth,” Sienna coaxed.
Without waiting for a response, she began to move her hand towards Hannah’s lips, resulting in her leaning away and looking like she was going to be sick. Sienna didn’t falter, however, ignoring her sister’s discomfort and raising the filter up to her lips anyways. Hannah was keeping her lips pressed firmly together, tears brimming on the edge of her eyelids.
“Open your mouth Hann,” Sienna encouraged softly.
Hannah shook her head, a tear rolling down her cheek in silent defiance of her circumstances.
“I promise, you’ll like it, just trust me,” Sienna continued with honeyed words.
I saw some of the resolve drain from Hannah’s face as she eyed the cigarette, clearly considering her options before returning her gaze back to her sister. Sienna just nodded and smiled warmly, a comforting mask that had the exact effect she was intending. Hannah’s lips parted in exasperation, a sigh escaping them as she seemed to wilt under the influence of her big sister.
“Now open a little wider,” Sienna instructed softly.
With one more sigh, Hannah parted her lips awkwardly and allowed Sienna to slip the filter of the cigarette between them.
“Good, now suck.”
Hannah did as she was told, the end of the cigarette burning brightly for a moment. Hannah’s eyes bulged a moment as her mouth filled with mentholated smoke and Sienna removed the filter.
“Now breathe in slowly through your nose,” Sienna said.
It took only a moment for Hannah to break into a coughing fit as the smoke exploded from her mouth and nose upon protest of her lungs. She miraculously regained composure quite quickly and Sienna was right back on her to push another attempt. This time Hannah shook her head, protesting vigorously.
“That happens to everyone the first time, it’s normal. You just have to get used to it, try it again,” Sienna explained, already in the process of trying to force the filter back between Hannah’s lips.
Hannah’s eyes were glassy and scared, and it was clear that her will to really fight was gone. Any protests at this point were mere orchestrations meant only to convey her opposition and inner turmoil, but not actually stop anything that was happening. It took only a few seconds of Sienna staring at her intently while holding the cigarette up to her lips before Hannah relented and parted them. The same series of actions followed, and this time Hannah was able to successfully inhale partially before coughing. She also regained her composure even quicker this time, leading to a wordless acceptance of yet another attempt only seconds later.
Third time’s a charm, as it were, as a deep, slow inhalation proceeded unfettered by a coughing fit.
“Good, now purse your lips like you’re blowing out a candle and exhale the smoke,” Sienna concluded her training.
Hannah acquiesced to her sister and did as she was told, exhaling a thin stream of well-absorbed smoke into the living room.
“Good! You did it!” Sienna exclaimed excitedly.
It was clear to me that she was trying for ‘infectious enthusiasm’ but I was doubtful that it would be effective. To my utter amazement, however, Hannah’s lips curved into a tepid smile that seemed both genuine and prideful.
“Here, you take this one and I’ll light my own,” Sienna said, holding out the last 1/3rdof her cigarette to Hannah.
It was so nonchalant and casual, offering essentially no room for protesting or discussion. And it worked flawlessly, Hannah reached out her left hand shakily to grab the cigarette with her thumb and forefinger awkwardly. She stared at it with terrified wonder for a few moments while Sienna lit another cigarette for herself.
“Hold it like this,” she instructed by holding up her hand with the cigarette slotted between her ring and pointer fingers curled up next to her face elegantly.
Hannah mimicked her big sister, comparing her hand to Sienna’s until it looked roughly the same. I was basically mystified at what I was witnessing, as I continued staring with my mouth agape. Hannah seemed to notice me out of the corner of her eye and her cheeks immediately burned red in embarrassment.
“Oh, I uh, should’ve asked, right? Whoops, this is probably really not okay,” she seemed to instantly revert back to the guilt-ridden young woman when she noticed me looking at her.
“No, no, we live and let live here, don’t worry Hannah. You’ve done absolutely nothing wrong, no apology necessary,” I attempted to soothe.
I honestly didn’t know exactly what she was apologizing for, but I recognized how strange the entire situation had become and how it might’ve felt to realize it had all happened right in front of ‘responsible adults.’ If she only knew.
“Chill Hann, take another drag and relax,” Sienna encouraged, following her own advice.
Hannah watched Sienna take a powerful drag and inhale a thick ball of smoke sharply before trying to do the same. She brought the cigarette to her lips and applied a modest suction, looking like the true amateur that she was with odd finger arrangement. But she successfully inhaled another lungful of smoke by slowly breathing in through her nose after removing the cigarette from her lips. She looked absolutely adorable pursing her lips and exhaling a stream of smoke that was a little thicker than the previous one.
“It’s so relaxing, isn’t it? And the warmth of it in your lungs, I love it so much, don’t you?” Sienna gushed.
The ‘infectious enthusiasm’ mode was still turned to 11, and I wondered if Hannah would see through how transparently Sienna was attempting influence and manipulate her. It seemed the answer was no, as she smiled in response and nodded back at her.
“I get it, it’s not what I was expecting. There’s something about it that just feels right,” Hannah replied, clearly trying to agree with Sienna by offering some of her own insight to make it feel like her own opinion.
I stifled a laugh at the obvious attempt to ‘fit in’ and instead relished the scene unfolding in front of me. There very well might be some serious consequences down the road from the dominoes that were being toppled in this moment, but it was hard to care about those right now. Sienna’s smile caught my eye as I marveled at Hannah continuing to smoke her cigarette unprovoked. It was a smile that communicated directly with the darkest parts of my innermost self, seemingly finding a kindred spirit. It seemed to say one thing that reverberated in my mind like an echo.
‘It begins.’
