Literotic asexstories – Savannah by DCCoffeeman,DCCoffeeman I had originally planned to enter Savannah into the 750 word competition; however, no matter how much I tried, I couldn’t get it under 1200 words, so I decided to make it a full story (and if you read closely you’ll see where the original ending was). The story could’ve been labeled as Romance, but I think better fits where it is. So I’ll call it a romantic incest/taboo story. And although real places are named, they are there solely to be a part of the story and to help move the narrative along.
Thank you for reading. And as usual, constructive comments and positive ratings are always welcome. Enjoy…
Chris Stevens laughed to himself as his taxi slowly made it’s way down Lake Shore Drive, past Buckingham Fountain and Grant Park.
‘This is why I haven’t come downtown in years.’
A native Chicagoan, Chris now had a condo in a far north suburb of the city, mostly so he had someplace to call ‘home’. He was one of the most in-demand photographers in the world, so he was rarely home, almost never coming downtown. But the note in his hand, with it’s cryptic, yet compelling message, was the reason.
‘I’m at the Palmer House. Please come see me, Thursday the 17 th at 7:00. I’ll meet you in the lobby. S
Reading the note again, Chris wondered why she was getting in touch with him after so many years apart. Once they were close, as close as two could be. But the divorce shattered him – and her – and they hadn’t spoken to each other in years; it had been even longer since they saw each other. And the mystery – why was she reaching out now?
‘I guess I’ll find out soon enough.’
Soon the taxi was clear of traffic and was pulling up to the Palmer House, still splendid looking after all the years. A doorman opened his door, and after paying the driver and tipping the doorman, he took a deep breath and entered the lobby, unsure of what he would find.
Stepping into the lobby, he was please to see it looked much as it did in the past. Luxurious fixtures, handcrafted woodwork, and a feeling of prosperity. He remembered his parents taking him and his siblings here for lunch and hot chocolate after looking at the Christmas displays in the large department stores, a tradition he and his now ex-wife continued with their own child for many years. Until…
His thoughts were interrupted as he saw her across the lobby. It had been many years since they last saw each other, but he knew her in an instant. Her face was much the same, but her body was that of a beautiful woman, and not like he last saw her. She was dressed impeccably in a classic women’s power suit – starched white blouse, a navy blazer paired with a navy skirt that almost reached her knees, dark hose and heels. Her hair was much shorter than he remembered, but the same auburn color. And as she walked toward him, he fell in love with her all over again.
Now they were walking quicker, and soon stood before each other, looking the other over. She looked apprehensive, but a moment later Chris opened his arms and welcomed her into them. They stood there, holding each other tight, remembering feelings from the past. Soon Chris heard her softly sobbing into his shoulder, and he gently stroked her hair.
“You’re here. I was so afraid you wouldn’t come, especially after all these years.”
“I almost didn’t. I had no idea you were in town, Savannah, and my first thought was that the note was from her.”
Breaking the hug, she looked at Chris and smiled.
“Let’s go someplace we can be alone. There’s a lot we need to catch up on.”
Taking his arm in hers, she turned and began to walk to the bank of elevators.
“I thought we were going someplace to talk.”
“We are, but what I want to say to you, I need to say in private, and not in some noisy bar.”
The elevator doors slid open, and Chris let her enter first. She pushed the button for the 24th floor, as well as the ‘door close’ button. As the elevator began to move, she stood in front of Chris, her back to his chest, and took his hands in hers. Before he could say anything, she slipped his hands under her blazer and placed them on her bra-unencumbered breasts. Gasping as she did this, Chris felt the warm, soft, full mounds in his hands. She moaned, leaned into him, and whispered,
“Play with my tits. Play with my nipples – they’re really sensitive.”
As Chris squeezed and played, she moaned and squirmed against him. All too soon the elevator slowed and Chris removed his hands. As the door opened, she took his arm in hers, and walked him down the hall.
Stopping before the last door in the hallway, she removed the key card from her pocket and opened the door, holding it open for him. Still not sure what was happening, Chris entered the room and was surprised at the size. Closing and double locking the door, she walked over to the windows and pulled the curtains open, letting them see the view of the city and the lake beyond.
“This is quite the room.”
“Well, when you’re the CEO of your own successful company, there are perks to be had.”
When Chris went to respond, she simply put her fingers to his lips.
“We’ll talk later, but right now I need to do something I’ve been waiting years to do. Wanting for years to do. Taking something from my fantasies and turning them into reality.”
Without another word, she began to strip for Chris. First her blazer found it’s way onto a chair. Next her shoes. Then she began to slowly unbutton her blouse, showing him a bit more flesh with each undone button. Then she pulled the zipper of her skirt down, the soft purr the only sound in the room, letting it pool around her feet. She then slipped the blouse off her shoulders, leaving her standing before him in only a tiny pair of panties and thigh-high stockings.
His response was exactly what she wanted. Chris stood there, looking at her with unbridled lust. She knew he wanted her, but was holding back; knowing why, she took the next step. She slowly slid her hands down her body, playing with her tits as she went. Her hands went lower and dipped into her gathering wetness between her legs. When she took her fingers out of her pussy and sucked them into her mouth, he gasped… and she knew she had him.
Smiling at his uncertainty as to what to do next, she took his hand and let him to the bedroom, where a large king sized bed dominated the room. Letting his hand go, she closed the distance to the bed and in a sultry, sexy move, lay on her back, pulled her soaked panties off, and spread her legs wide in invitation.
When Chris hesitated, she smiled again and, placing her hands at her crotch, spread open her pussy lips for him to see just how wet she was for him.
“Please don’t make me wait any longer. Take me any way you want, as often as you want. I’m yours. Any hole, any way. Please…”
Hearing the lust and want in her voice, Chris quickly stripped out of his clothes, joining her on the bed. Her eyes went wide when he was naked, her first glimpse of his fully erect dick exciting her even more.
“Are you sure? Once we do this, we can’t ever uncross this line.”
“I’ve never been more sure of anything in my life. Please, fuck me.”
Placing a soft kiss on her lips, Chris knelt between her splayed legs and took in the beauty laying before him. She was beautiful, reminding him of someone from his past that he tried to forget. But the memory was past – and she was here right now, naked and begging him to fuck her. Taking a deep breath, Chris took his dick in his hand and placed it at her opening, rubbing his dick up and down, spreading her wetness. As he did, she moaned out loud, encouraging him even more.
Not hesitating, Chris began to slip into her pussy, treasuring the feel of pushing into a woman’s pussy, as if making love for the first time with someone. Soon he was fully seated as he felt himself entirely engulfed by the warmest, wettest pussy he’d ever been in. Then he began to move, pulling almost all the way out before sliding back in. Again and again he moved, his lust building with every motion.
At the same time, she was laying there in ecstasy, feeling Chris pumping in and out of her pussy. It was a wonderful feeling, one that was even better than she had imagined. Higher and higher he took her, closer and closer to her impending orgasm. She moaned, encouraging him to go faster and harder. Encouraging him to make her cum. Begging him to cum in her, to fill her with his semen.
Both could feel their orgasms building, but when Chris leaned over and sucked a nipple into his mouth, her orgasm washed over her like a tsunami, short circuiting her brain with pleasure. She screamed. She writhed. She squeezed his dick, causing him to shoot rope after rope of cum deep into her pussy.
Soon, Chris was spent, but she kept trembling, her orgasm continuing. He pulled out and lay next to her, pulling her close, holding her tight, even as her tremors continued. Before long, both were asleep, holding each other in their arms.
Some time later, Chris awoke to the amazing feeling of a warm mouth enveloping his hardening dick. Looking down she was there, sucking him back to fullness. Smiling as she saw him awake, she pulled his dick from her mouth, straddled his hips, and lowered herself onto his hardness. Moaning as he filled her once again, she began to raise and lower herself on him. Watching her tits bounce as she rode him, Chris reached up to play with her sensitive nipples.
“Ohh yes, play with my tits. Yes… that’ll make me cum that much quicker. Oh god, fill me up again. Cum in me. Please…”
Moments later, both lovers reached their climax together. Chris was surprised at how much cum he was shooting into her, and she was loving how much he was shooting into her. Slowing down, she sighed contentedly and lay on his chest.
“Ohh daddy…”
*****
Chris woke with a start. It was morning, but he was taken aback for a moment, trying to remember where he was. He was used to waking up in hotel rooms, but not as luxurious as this. And as he woke, he began to remember last night; making love to a beautiful woman wasn’t the problem. The problem was that woman was his daughter.
He sat up in bed. Realizing he was alone, he began to wonder if she was gone.
‘Did she think this was all a big mistake? Have I ruined any chance of getting her back in my life?’
As these thoughts ran through his head, he heard someone talking in the other room. Throwing on his pants and shirt, he followed the sound, only to find Savannah sitting at the table, breakfast and coffee close at hand. She looked up and smiled, holding up one finger to indicate she’d be done soon.
Chris smiled back and sat opposite her, pouring himself some badly needed coffee. Minutes later she was done with her call, and moved to sit on Chris’ lap, giving him a long, soft kiss.
“Good morning, daddy. Did you sleep well?”
“Good morning. Yes, I slept very well, thanks. You?”
“Oh god, yes. Nothing like a good, hard fuck – or two – to knock me out.”
“Yeah, about that. We really need to talk, and this time we need to actually talk. About so many things.”
“You’re right. I’m sorry, but not really, about how last night went. It wasn’t my initial intent for that to happen. But once I was in your arms, you holding me so tight, that I lost my nerve to talk. At that point, I only wanted you. I really wasn’t aiming to take you to bed.”
“And I should’ve stopped us from going so far.”
“Didn’t you enjoy it?”
“I didn’t say that. Yes, I enjoyed it very much. Probably too much. You’ve turned into a very beautiful woman, Savannah, and it was probably the best sex I’ve had… ever. Despite that, we need to talk about it. And talk about why I’m hearing from you now, after all these years. I was sure you’d forgotten all about me by now.”
“Forgotten about you? Never. But there were many years where I was furious with you, but later found out that I was wrong to feel that way. But that’s the discussion we need to have later. Right now, I need to get going. I’m in town for some important business meetings, and have to be across downtown in 45 minutes. But I’m hoping we can get together later for dinner and talking. I should be done late afternoon, so how about we meet up here at 6:00.”
“Sounds good. That’ll give me time to go to my place, clean up, and catch up on some work. How about a casual dinner someplace close.”
“Works for me. I’ll let you pick the place; I haven’t been downtown for years.”
Just then, her phone buzzed with a message.
“Ok, my ride is downstairs, so I have to go. Stay as long as you like, and be sure to have something to eat. I’ll see you later.”
Giving Chris a quick kiss, Savannah grabbed her purse and briefcase and left, leaving Chris sitting there with more questions than answers. But he figured he’d get his answers tonight, so he might as well enjoy the breakfast sitting in front of him. Once he finished, he washed up, got fully dressed, and left the room to grab his own taxi.
*****
Promptly at 6, Chris was knocking on her room door. He heard her yell ‘just a minute’, and then the door opened with Savannah standing there half dressed.
“So do you always open your room door half naked, or is this just for me?”
“Sorry. I’m running late and I thought I’d be done by now. Come on in.”
As Chris entered the room, he couldn’t take his eyes away from Savannah. Once again, her absolute beauty took his breath away. She was dressed in a tight pair of jeans, fashionable boots, and a necklace around her neck – and nothing else. Grabbing a light sweater and pulling it on, she declared herself ready to go.
“I see you’re letting the girls run free tonight.”
“Yeah, I didn’t think you’d mind. Besides, they were corralled all day inside one of my ‘iron maiden’ bras. The prospective client I met is a real hard-ass on people not dressing professionally, so I didn’t want to take a chance.
“So where are we eating?”
“I thought pizza sounded good, so how about Gino’s East?”
“Oh yes. I haven’t been there in more years than I care to remember. Can we walk there? That’ll give us some time to talk.”
“That we can. And if you want to taxi it back after, we can do that as well.”
Arm in arm, the two strolled up Michigan Avenue, heading for their favorite pizza place. As they did they talked about nothing important until Chris asked her a question.
“So tell me, what do you do these days? And what brings you to Chicago?”
“Well, I got my B.A. in Poli Sci and Pre-Law, and then went to law school. Right out of school I got a job with a large firm in L.A. that mostly dealt with entertainment law, actors, and agents. It was fun, but really difficult work with long hours and lots of pressure. Do you remember when I was young how much I loved to draw? After a while, I began to teach myself computer graphics. At first it was my way to relieve the pressure of the job, but soon became something I began to freelance with. When the senior partner found out about it, he fired me because he thought I should be spending my free time working on his shit, and not what I wanted to do. After all, it was my time.
“So after some hard negotiations to get me a decent severance package after I threatened to sue for wrongful termination, I started to do more and more of what I wanted to do. Several clients of the law firm knew what I was doing and gave me more and more work; so much, in fact, that I finally incorporated into my own company and hired several others to help.
“We were successful beyond belief, and soon a very large company bought my small, but successful company. I became the president, and the owner of the other company became the CEO. Things were good, until the doofus decided to cheat on his wife with a hooker, and had a heart attack mid-hook. It was such a Hollywood trope – he climaxed, and then he died on top of the poor girl. Once she figured out what happened, she pushed him off, called 911 anonymously, and left him there for the cops to find. Unfortunately for her, she didn’t realize the cops had her caller ID, tracked her down, and got her side of what happened.
“We were all worried that his wife, who was an idiot and someone we all hated, would come in and take over the business. Luckily, they had a pre-nup, which stated that anything business-wise would not go to her, but stay within the business. She got a fairly nice settlement and promptly disappeared, leaving me as the new CEO. And I’m in town talking with several clients and attempting to win over several new ones.”
“Wow. I had no idea my offspring was so smart. She certainly didn’t get it from her old man.”
“Maybe not, but I did get your passion for the visual arts, no matter what kind. And I did get your knack for seeing things – people, nature, video games, whatever – with a critical eye. I think that’s why my company has been so successful. Plus, I only hire the best people, so what we create is always better than what anyone else can create.
“And that, dear father, is my professional story in a nutshell. And here we are.”
Getting seated, they ordered drinks and pizza, and continued their conversation. After one long pause, Chris asked the question they both had been dreading.
“Why?”
“Why what?”
“Why did you disappear for so long, only to reappear now, acting as if no time has passed?”
Savannah looked anyplace but at her father, and took a long gulp of her drink, wasting time while trying to find the right words to use. Finally she looked up and began to answer.
“At first I blamed you for everything. When you left, after mom kicked you out, she began to tell me all the bad things you did to her, and in her eyes, to me. She blamed you for being gone all the time, even though she knew it was your job – a job she knew about when you got married, and before. She began to fill my head with nothing but bad stories, how you screwed this and that up, how you never took responsibility for anything, how she was the only one raising me – stuff like that.
“I was only 13 when you split, and even though I loved you, hearing all this, over and over, I began to believe her. So after a while, I began to loathe the idea of you being my father. I boxed up pictures, anything you bought me on our vacations or your travels around the world – anything that reminded me of you. I was so angry with you for so many years, I never stopped to think that maybe you weren’t the bad guy. But everything changed at mom’s funeral.
“People were leaving the cemetery when someone came up to me, wanting to talk. She looked familiar, so I said yes. It turned out to be mom’s sister Alice. I hadn’t seen her in many years, but once she began to talk, I realized who she was – and almost asked her to leave. Mom had told me that Aunt Alice and you had planned out everything, and that she was to blame for you leaving. I started to walk away, and she almost yelled at me to stop and listen to her.
‘Why should I listen to you? You broke up my family, leaving mom and me all alone.’
‘Is that what she told you? If your father hates you so much, why did he keep sending me letters and postcards to give to you? He thought your mom would just throw them away, so he tried to do it through me. But you mom never let me near you, so after a while, I just gave up. But here – here are some of the letters your dad sent you. Read them – please. And then tell me he hated you.’
“The first two cards were birthday card, both with money in them. Then I read the first letter, and began to cry. I realized then that mom had lied to me for all those years. When Alice helped me clean out the house, she found a box, hidden in the back of a closet, with letters you sent me. Letters and cards and postcards all telling me about your life and what you were doing and where you were travelling. I cried for hours reading them, thinking of the life she cheated me out of. Years and years of hating you when I should’ve been loving you.
“When I finally realized all this, I knew I had to get in touch with you, but had no idea how. I wrote to the editors of several magazines you were published in, but nobody would give me your information. Aunt Alice finally tracked down your agent, and it was though her I got you that message.”
There was a long pause while Savannah wiped her eyes with her napkin, trying to stem the flow of tears. At the same time, their waiter delivered their pizza, and the mood lightened up. After several bites, Savannah looked at her father once again.
“Daddy, I’m so sorry. I had no idea mom was such an evil bitch to you. All she did was fill my head with the bad stuff, and after hearing it for so long, I believed it. But now I see that it was all a bunch of bullshit on her part. I love you, daddy, and I want to get back to the way we were before everything went to hell. Can we do that, or has too much bad blood been spilled? Has time passed us by?”
Chris reached his hands out to his daughter, holding them tight.
“I want nothing more than to get to know you once again. Even with the years of no contact, I never stopped loving you, Savannah. And now I get to see what a wonderful woman you’ve become, while getting to skip those angst-filled teenage years.”
That got both of them laughing, and as they finished their meal, Chris asked one more question.
“So what happened to your last name? Why are you now a Hansen and not Stevens?”
Savannah paled as she heard the question. It was one she was expecting, but not looking forward to answering.
“The ink on your divorce papers wasn’t dry when mom married Andrew Hansen. He was ok – he never tried to be a dad to me, and he treated me ok, and mom said she loved him. He was also loaded, so that helped her as well. I don’t know why she never changed my name legally, but she started to tell me to use Hansen as my last name – so I did. She had the school change my records, so that’s what I became. Once I started my own life, I felt it was too late to change back, especially after I started my own business. So I just left it. I hope you don’t mind – especially since that’s how I’m known in the business world.”
“No, honey, I don’t mind. But what happened to him?”
“About two years after he and mom married he had a heart attack and died. It was all very sudden and weird, as he was very athletic. But he had an unknown heart condition and that’s what did it. Mom was devastated for a while. But once she realized she was the sole beneficiary in his will, she got over it pretty quickly.
“But no more talk about mom and the past. I want to know what you’ve been doing since then. Tell me as we finish eating.”
*****
They boxed up their leftover pizza and decided to walk back to her hotel. It was a warm, early spring day, and both thought the walk back would help walk off their dinner. Walking arm in arm, laughing and continuing their discussion, especially about what happened the night before, they didn’t notice the four men that suddenly appeared in front of them, blocking the sidewalk. Chris saw them first, followed by Savannah, and they both suddenly stopped. Sensing danger, Chris pushed the ‘panic’ button on his watch, something special he had for protection for all the dangerous places he visited; pushing the button alerted the local police to where he was.
“Well, well, well. What do we have here? A cute bitch and her sugar daddy? A john and his hooker? Either way, we’re about to have a show. And look, they even brought us pizza. So now we get dinner and a show. How ’bout it, sweet shit. How ’bout sharing with us?”
Showing no fear at all, Savannah answered.
“No thanks. I’m not sharing anything with you. Not now, not ever. So if you don’t mind, we’ll be on our way.”
The four men began to laugh, and the leader suddenly drew a handgun from his belt and held it on them.
“Sorry, sweetmeat, you don’t get to make the rules tonight.”
With a nod of his head, one man got behind Savannah and held her arms behind her. Doing so pushed her chest out between the open lapels of her coat.
“Why, look at what we have here. This white chick is pushing her tits out for me to play with. How nice – dessert before dinner.”
Reaching out with one hand while holding the gun on Chris, the leader started to squeeze Savannah’s chest, softly at first, but turning vicious in a moment. Savannah called out, and the leader hissed at her ‘shut the fuck up, bitch’.
In the distance they heard the first wail of police sirens, and Chris shared a quick glance at Savannah, slightly nodding his head. She nodded back.
Savannah raised her foot and stomped the heel of her boot onto the foot of the thug holding her. Surprised, he let her go and she quickly turned around and jammed the palm of her hand into his nose, breaking it. Before he could react, she kicked him in his nuts several times, and he collapsed onto the ground, drowning in his own blood.
As that was going down, Chris reached out and throat-punched the thug with the gun, breaking his windpipe. As he began to fall to the ground, one shot rang out, and then he was laying on the ground, desperately trying to breathe. The other two thugs began to run away, and Savannah thought it was over. But she looked over, only to see Chris laying on the ground, blood coming from a bullet wound to his head.
Screaming for help, Savannah knelt by her father, trying to stop the bleeding. Chris looked up at her, and as everything went black, he heard several more gunshots, followed by the anguished cries of his daughter.
“Daddy. Daddy, can you hear me? Please stay with me. Daddy – NO!
*****
As Chris opened his eyes, he tried to figure out where he was. He could hear the soft beeping of a machine off to his left, and the quiet talking of people passing his open door in the hallway. It smelled of… antiseptic. Was he in a hospital? Was he dead? He tried to move his arms and legs, but to no avail. All he could see was what over his head – a fluorescent light fixture, and even that looked blurry. He felt tired, but he willed himself to stay awake, to try to figure out what happened to him. He blinked several more times, and then he saw the blurred outline of a face overhead.
“Mr. Stevens, can you hear me? Are you awake?”
Chris attempted to say something, but nothing came out.
“Mr. Stevens, if you can understand me, will you blink twice please?”
Willing his eyelids to move, Chris blinked twice. As he did, the face leaning over his seemed to smile.
“That’s great. I’m going to get the doctor and another nurse, so don’t go anywhere.”
With that, the blurry smile disappeared. Soon she was back, talking softly to Chris as someone else began to check him over. Shortly, he heard another voice speaking to him.
“Mr. Stevens, hello. My name is Dr. Evans. I’m sure you have hundreds of questions for us, but I’m going to ask you to try not to speak just yet. You’ve been gone for a while, and your throat is bound to sore and scratchy. So when we talk to you, we’re going to go with only yes or no questions, ok? So blink twice for yes, once for no.”
Still totally confused, Chris blinked twice, and the people gathered around him spoke with excited voices. He suddenly remember something important – Savannah. He started to blink his eyes rapidly, and one of the nurses leaned over to him. Knowing he would probably not be able to say much, he croaked out ‘daughter’.
“Your daughter, Savannah? She’s fine. In fact, we have to throw her out of here most nights or else she’d sleep in the chair. We’re calling her now; she should be here soon, so why don’t you rest easy until she arrives.”
After a while, Savannah entered the hospital and hurried into the elevator. Willing it to go faster, she was in a hurry as soon as the doors opened. As she ran down the hall, one of the nurses stopped her.
“Savannah, wait. The doctors are looking at your dad, so you need to wait out here until they’re finished. I know you want to see him, but this will only be a moment.”
Just then, several people exited Chris’ room.
“Savannah, hello. I’m Dr. Cox – I did the initial surgery on your father. Everything with the head wound looks good, and we’re all encouraged by what’s happening. I know you have questions, so let me answer what I can.
“No, we don’t know for sure if he’s truly waking up for good yet. However, the signs are promising. He turns his head from side to side when hearing people talk. He understands when we ask him yes or no questions by blinking his eyes. He keeps trying to talk, but we’ve asked him to wait on that because his throat is still very raw.
“All that said, I’m cautiously optimistic. And I think it will do him a world of good to know you’re here. So go on in, but be gentle – he’s still not aware of what happened.”
Savannah gave the doctor a big hug and thanked him for everything. Entering his room, she moved slowly toward her father’s bed, watching for any reaction. When she got close enough, she looked right down at him, smiled, and said hello.
“Hi, dad. I hear you’re giving the nurses and doctors something new to talk about. We’ve all been so worried about you.”
Hearing her voice and seeing her blurry face, Chris smiled. Savannah sat next to him and gave him a hug, kissing his face and crying, all at the same time.
“I’ve been so worried about you, daddy. I was so happy we finally reconnected and then you were taken away from me; I thought it was forever, because you wouldn’t wake up. The nurses kept encouraging me, but I was beginning to lose hope. Please don’t go away again – I’m not sure I could take it.”
As Savannah was talking, one of the nurses poked her head in to see his reactions. She was shocked when Chris moved one arm and put it around Savannah, pulling her close. This got both the nurse and Savannah crying.
“Daddy, you know I’m here? You can move a little? Don’t try to talk. The doctors just left and said they’re optimistic about your condition. But they want you to rest as much as possible. Don’t worry – I’m not going anywhere.”
*****
The next morning, the duty nurse quietly entered Chris’ room to find Savannah still asleep, her head laying on her father’s chest, his arm still across her back, holding her close. Smiling, she gently shook Savannah while moving his arm off her back.
“Savannah, wake up. It’s morning.”
Stretching as she woke, Savannah groaned as her back ached after a night of sleeping in a very uncomfortable position.
“You realize you have a recliner 10 feet away, don’t you?”
“I know, but I didn’t want to wake dad. Besides, it felt good to feel him hold me.”
“I’m sure it did, but you need to take care of yourself too. How about I stay with your dad and you get some coffee and breakfast downstairs?”
Reluctantly, Savannah agreed. While she was gone, Chris woke and looked for his daughter.
“Good morning, Mr. Stevens. I sent Savannah downstairs to get herself some breakfast. How are you feeling this morning?”
Smiling, Chris blinked twice.
“Would you like to sit up?
Another double blink, and soon Chris was sitting up for the first time in a while.
“How does that feel?”
Another double blink, this time accompanied by a smile.
“Good. The doctors should be here shortly to check on your progress.”
Another double blink and another smile.
Shortly, Savannah came back holding a large cup of coffee. She leaned over her father and gave him a kiss and said ‘good morning, sleepyhead’. Just then, one of his doctors entered, along with several nurses.
“Good morning, Ms. Hansen. And good morning to you, Chris. How are you feeling this morning?”
There was a long pause before Chris smiled and croaked out ‘hungry’.
Surprised by this new turn of recovery, the doctor decided to see how far Chris could go.
“Ok, you’re hungry? That’s a really good sign, Chris. What are you hungry for?”
Another pause, while Chris gathered his thoughts. This time his words sounded stronger.
“Steak and eggs.”
That got everyone in the room laughing.
“Well, I think it might be a bit too soon for that, but I bet we can find something else that you’ll be able to swallow and digest somewhat easier than that.
“Ms. Hansen, would you mind stepping out for a few minutes so we can check your father over? Thanks…”
After a while the doctors left Chris and headed to a waiting Savannah. She was anxious, hoping for the best, but not getting her hopes up too much.
“Ms. Hansen, I have to say I’m impressed with how quickly your father is regaining awareness of his surroundings. We’re all agreed that he is waking up for good. But with that, we need to start planning for his future. Obviously he is going to need lots of therapy, physical and emotional. He’ll need to spend some time in a rehabilitation setting, first getting his strength back, and then getting his cognitive and motor skills up to speed. And once he’s released from there, he’ll still need to work on mobility issues. I can recommend some places near here if you like, or do you have some other place in mind?”
“Dad lives here, but I live in Southern California. I’ve been staying at his place, and there’s no way to redo it for any type of handicap accessibility. I was thinking that he can move in with me, as my house is large and can easily accommodate any changes I need to make. I live in Palm Springs, and I know of several rehab facilities that are really good that are nearby.
“All I have to do is convince dad to move out there. I also have to tell him how long he’s been in the coma. I don’t think he has any idea it’s been six months.”
“I think he needs to know that, first and foremost. Having him with you is probably a good idea, and the weather out there is perfect for his rehab.”
“Plus, I have an in-ground pool in my backyard he can use for his workouts, as well as a hot tub, so that might help him decide as well.”
Later that night, Savannah was sitting with Chris when she finally got the nerve to talk to him about plans for the future, as well as what happened the night of the shooting – and how long it’s been.
“So, I was talking to your doctor earlier about what happens next with your rehab. All the doctors are convinced your coma is behind you, and now we need to focus on getting you back to full health.
“Do you remember anything about that night? And do you have any idea how long ago it was?”
Sadly, Chris shook his head.
“No. I remember having dinner with you, walking back to your hotel, and then waking up here. It all seems like a dream that happened last week.”
Taking Chris’ hands, Savannah moved closer to him.
“Dad, you’ve been in a coma for almost six months. You started to wake up several times, but never did until now. I’ve been living in your place this whole time, working from here. Six months, dad. That’s why you can’t move around well. Even though the physical therapists worked with you, moving your arms and legs, your muscles have atrophied. Before you can do anything substantial, we need to get you back into shape so you can do what you did before.
“Dad, I want you to move with me back to California. There are several world-renowned rehab facilities near where I live, and I’m more than willing to remodel my house to accommodate you. I know you can’t stay in your place here, alone. You don’t have to make a decision right now – think about it. But I really want you with me so I can help take care of you.”
Chris sat there, dumbfounded. Six months! No wonder why nothing worked well. His brain was dormant for so long it’s no wonder why everything seems like a fog surrounding him. But she’s right – there’s no way he can do anything here, by himself.
“Sweetie, I don’t like the idea of selling my place and moving to California, but you’re right – I need help with my recovery. And I’d be a fool not to take you up on your offer. And hopefully, this will allow us to recover ourselves as well. So yes, make the plans you need to make. Besides, I won’t miss living through another Chicago winter.”
*****
Ten days later, Chris and Savannah were on a private jet heading for California where people from the rehab center would meet them. Savannah had contacted a contractor friend of hers who would start on the remodel of her house as soon as they arrived. Chris’ agent got his condo sold in record time for twice the market value. His furniture, clothes, and all his worldly goods were packed up and shipped to Savannah’s house. And after a short but tearful goodbye party at the hospital, they were on their way.
*****
Two months later, Chris was discharged from the rehab facility and moved into Savannah’s house. It was large, modern, and roomy enough for them to not bump into each other if they didn’t want to. There were two master suites, one on each side of the house, along with two other guest bedrooms, an office, and another room that became the storage room for Chris’ things.
With her home office, Savannah worked from there two days a week; the other three days she went to her office and a day nurse came in to help Chris. He was able to move around better, now using a walker most of the time instead of a wheelchair. The nurse helped him with his medicines as well as continuing to work on his fine motor skills. Before the shooting, Chris was a excellent cook, so much of their work was in the kitchen, helping him regain his skill and confidence. He used the pool quite often, walking from side to side to help build up his strength. And after three months of this routine, he was strong enough and confident enough to the point where the nurse wasn’t needed anymore.
One day Chris was in the pool, doing his walking laps. His eyes were closed as he concentrated on what he was doing, so he didn’t hear the sliding doors to the house open and close, and he didn’t see Savannah walking towards the pool, naked. He was surprised when he heard the splash of her diving into the pool, and laughed when she surfaced and began to splash him with water. When he wiped the water from his eyes, he saw her standing before him naked, her breasts just breaking clear of the water.
“Sweetie, I think you forgot to put your suit on.”
“Did I? I’m so forgetful sometimes. Do you really want me to put something on? Because I’d rather stay like this.”
Trying to keep his focus on her eyes – but failing – Chris admitted to himself that he wanted to see her like this.
“No. Don’t put anything on. You’re so beautiful, Savannah. I sometimes have a difficult time remembering you’re my daughter with all the lewd thoughts that I have. I still remember our night in Chicago – that’s one thing I’ll never forget.”
“Good. Because now that you’re almost back to where you were before, I want to continue what we did that night. I love you, dad, and not just like a daughter to her father. I’m in love with you, like one lover to another. I want to make love with you. I want to fuck you. I want to feel your dick pumping into my mouth. I want to feel your tongue licking me. I want to feel you sucking my clit into your mouth while your fingers fuck my cunt. I want to do everything I can with you. I know you’re going to say we shouldn’t because I’m your daughter and ‘what would people think’.
“To tell the truth, I don’t care what anyone else thinks. Fuck them. You were taken away from me for 17 years once and now for almost another year. I don’t want to lose you again. I want to be with you always. I want you to yearn for me when we’re apart and as soon as we’re together I want you to love my body anyway you want.
“I’m yours, dad. For now and forever, I’m yours. And right now, I really want to take you to bed and have you fuck me senseless. I’m desperate to feel you inside me again, loving me over and over. Please, dad… please fuck me.”
The two looked at each other for a long moment until Chris pulled Savannah close to him, feeling her luscious breasts pushing into his chest and his hard dick pushing against her groin. The first kiss was short and hard; the second was long and loving. And soon Chris found himself naked as well, as Savannah pushed his swimsuit off his hips and down his legs.
When his dick was freed she began to stroke it, feeling it grow harder and longer in her hand. At the same time, Chris grabbed her ass and began to squeeze her cheeks. Moaning in delight, Savannah whispered ‘suck my tits’, and pulled his head down to her ample chest, letting him feast on her sensitive nipples. Moving from one nipple to the other, he kept her on edge until he slipped his hand between her legs and pushed two fingers into her wet cunt. Seconds later she screamed as her orgasm wracked her body. And even as she trembled in his arms, he kept moving his fingers in and out of her, bringing her closer to another orgasm.
“Yes, oh yes, daddy. Keep fingering me. Oh god, I’m going to cum again. Yes!”
This time he removed his fingers and held her close while her orgasm swept over her. Minutes later her breathing was back to normal, and they both realized she was still holding Chris’ hard dick in her hand.
“Well, I guess I better take care of this before we go inside. Walk over to the steps so I can suck you off out here.”
Moving to the stairs, Savannah knelt down in front of her father and began to lick and suck his erection deep into her mouth. She knew it wouldn’t take long, and she was correct. Soon she felt his dick grow larger in her mouth, and before he could warn her, Chris began to fill her mouth with his cum.
After swallowing several times and licking him clean, Savannah rose and hugged her father.
“Thank you, daddy. That was wonderful. Now take me inside and make love to me.”
*****
Several hours later, Chris and Savannah were sitting in the living room, facing each other on the couch.
“Sweetie, we really need to talk about what is going on with us.”
“Yes, we do. And I promise not to do anything until we’re finished.”
“Good. Now, to put it bluntly, what are your feelings about ‘us’? Where do you see this going? What do you see happening in the long run?”
“Honestly, I’m not sure. I know I love you – not like a daughter, but as a lover. I know it’s wrong, but that’s how I feel. I also know I want to try to somehow make up for the years we lost. I know you’ve got so many stories of what you’ve done, where’ve you gone, and who’ve you met that I want to hear. And I know I want to tell you all about my life after the divorce. And beyond that, I have no idea. What about you? What are you feeling about all this?”
“I’m not totally sure. As your dad, I love being with you, seeing you again after all these years; I’m also thrilled to see the successful businesswoman you’ve become. But as a man, I have to say you make me feel younger than I have in a long time. Making love with you takes me to places I’ve only dreamed about. And no, it was never, ever, this good with your mother.
“However, I am your father, and no matter how much we may want, we can never marry or have children together, and that’s something I don’t want to take away from you – a chance to have a husband and children of your own.
“I look at you and see my greatest accomplishment – a beautiful, loving daughter, someone who is successful in business, someone who is the kindest person I know. Not many children would put their lives on hold for six months to help their estranged father. Not many children would change their home and lifestyle to help either.
“Do I love you? Absolutely. Both as a father and as a lover. But I also have to look out for you and your own well-being. Does any of this make sense?”
Chris looked at his daughter, tears welling up in her eyes, and opened his arms to her. Savannah slid over and hugged her father tight, and no longer able to hold back her tears, sobbed into his chest. All Chris could do was hold her until the tears halted.
“But what if that’s not what I want? What if I want you – all of you, forever? I don’t care about having children. I really don’t care what others think. All I know is I want you to be in my life, and not just as my dad.”
“But how would a relationship between us affect your business? I’m not sure how many people would approve.”
“That’s where you’re wrong. I think most people won’t really care. And keeping my personal life separate from my working life is something I’ve done since I began working.
“I really think we can make this work, dad. At the least, I want to give it a try, ok?”
Chris was quiet for a long time, holding Savannah in his arms.
“Ok, let’s give it a try. But at the first sign of trouble…”
“I understand. But there won’t be any trouble.”
A moment later, a knock on the front door changed their lives forever.
Opening the door, Savannah was surprised to see…
“Aunt Alice! What a surprise. Please, come in; what are you doing here?”
“Hello, sweetie. Do I need a reason to visit my favorite niece?”
“Since I’m your only niece, I guess I will claim to be your favorite. And no, you never need a reason to visit. But really, what are you doing here? Why didn’t you let me know you were coming?”
“One, I wanted it to be a surprise. And two, I wasn’t sure I’d be this way until only a few days ago. I’m out here on business and I ended up with some spare time on my hands.”
Seeing Chris, Alice smiled and crossed the room to give him a hug.
“Chris, it’s so good to see you again. How are you doing?”
“Hello, Alice. It’s good to see you as well. It’s been a long time. As for me, I’m doing really well. Much better than I was doing several months ago.”
“I know. When I saw you in the hospital in Chicago, you looked like shit… and for a very good reason.”
“Wait, you saw dad in the hospital? How did I not see you? I was there so much of the time.”
“I made sure I visited when I knew you weren’t there. I passed through several times, but I didn’t want anyone to know I was there.”
“But why? I could’ve used the support.”
“I know, sweetie, but I work for some very powerful men and women, and what I do and where I go needs to remain as much of a secret as possible. But I’ve been keeping track of both of you over the years, and I’m really happy for your success – both of you.
“As for what else I’m doing here… let’s just say I have some information you both will find interesting… and vital for your futures. So why don’t you pour all of us a glass of wine and we sit by the pool and discuss this.”
*****
“First, let me say that much of what I’m going to tell you needs to stay between the three of us, ok? Like I said, I work for some very powerful people, which gives me access to more information about people and events than most anyone else. And as long as I use that access carefully, my bosses don’t care what information I access.”
Alice took a long pull at her wine and began.
“Chris, do you remember a college friend of yours named William Stevenson?”
“Billy? Sure. He was several years younger than me, one of my friends and was in our friends group. Whatever happened to him? I lost track of him after I graduated.”
“Unfortunately, William was killed in an auto accident after you graduated and before you came back. You were on an overseas assignment that had lasted several years, so I’m not surprised you never heard. I assume others thought someone had already told you, so no one ever did.
“At the same time, did you know that your ex-wife had an affair with him?”
“What? No, I had no idea. Diane swore she was faithful to me while I was gone. I suppose I should’ve seen that coming, knowing how close those two were. How long did it go on?”
“From right after you left and lasted until he died in the accident; you returned, asked her to marry you, and you two began your ‘happily ever after’… until it wasn’t.”
“But why didn’t Diane tell me Billy had died?”
“Because she was pregnant with his child and wanted you to believe it was yours. She didn’t want you to think about him in any way, and since you were living in Chicago and wouldn’t see any of your college friends, she thought she could get away with it. And she did.”
Chris was quiet for a long time; the quiet only ended when Savannah asked the question.
“So, does this mean dad is not my biological father and this Billy guy is?”
“Yes, sweetie, that’s exactly what it means.”
Angry at hearing this news, Chris stood and stalked around the pool deck.
“Why am I only hearing about this now? Couldn’t you have told me this years ago? Don’t you think I deserved the truth? Don’t you think Savannah deserved the truth? Why now, Alice?”
“For a long time, I didn’t know the truth. I had heard rumors, but couldn’t confirm anything, so I kept my mouth shut. After your divorce from Susan, she forbade me from coming around Savannah, and since I still had no proof, I didn’t tell you anything. It was only after she died and Savannah wanted to get in touch with you that I set out to find the truth. It took a lot of digging, but I finally found the proof I’d been looking for.
“And that brings me to my second point of information. Did you know William’s family was wealthy?”
“We all knew Billy came from money, but he never really showed it off. Occasionally he would buy dinners for all of us, and sometimes more than his share of rounds at the bar, but really, we never knew how rich he was.”
“That’s interesting. William’s family was not just wealthy, they were what we now call the upper ‘1%’. Meaning they were uber wealthy. And this is how it affects you, Savannah.
“When William’s family found out Susan was pregnant, they were ecstatic. So much so, that they set up a trust fund for you. A trust fund that hasn’t been touched in 30 years. He was an only child, and not long after he died, his parents died in a plane crash. The trust fund sat undisturbed, mainly because nobody knew about it. I’m sure your mom never knew; otherwise, she would’ve raided it over the years. I only found out about it recently, and this is the first chance I’ve had to tell you.”
Everyone was quiet, letting this information sink in.
“So are there any stipulations on this trust? Are there things I can and can’t use it for?”
“The trust fully vested on your 25th birthday, so there are no more stipulations. You can use it for anything you want. But I want you to think about this seriously, sweetie. There is quite a lot of money in it, as it has done very well over the years. I’ve already been in touch with the trustee bank to let them know you’ll be contacting them shortly. If you want, I can be there with you, or I can give you the names of several attorneys who would be very helpful.
“Savannah, I want to emphasize that this is quite a large sum on money, and you will need to be careful who you let know about this. Obviously, the fewer, the better.”
“How much is it worth? How much am I worth?”
Opening up a notebook, Alice smiled.
“As of the close of business yesterday, the trust is worth $195 million, and change. Most of it is invested in stocks and real estate. Stocks such as Apple, Google, Microsoft, and other well known companies. And it’s all yours, Savannah. Congratulations.”
Savannah and Chris were quiet, shocked at the plethora of news coming their way. As they sat there, Alice smiled as she saw the wheels turning in their heads. Finally, Chris spoke up.
“So, you’re positive Billy is Savannah’s biological father, and not me?”
“As positive as I can be. If you like we can do a DNA test, but I’m pretty sure I know how that will turn out.
“I know this has to be a shock to you, Chris. To both of you. And I’m here to tell you, I will help you with this as much as I can. Answer any questions, refer you to professionals who can help – whatever I can do to help. So please let me help. You two are the only real family I have left.”
All three were quiet as the information sunk in. Alice sat with a smile on her face, knowing she just brought them the best news possible… and not just the trust news. Savannah looked shocked, stood, and went inside to get another bottle of wine. Returning, she filled all three glasses again and sat next to her father.
“Tell me what you’re thinking, dad. I know what I want, but I need to hear what you want.”
“First, I want to do that DNA test – just to be sure. And if it turns out like Alice thinks it will, the next thing I want to do is marry you. If I’m not your biological father, then there’s nothing to stop us. And after that, I want to do my best to get you pregnant.”
Hearing that, Alice laughed.
“Ok, TMI. I really don’t need to hear about your romantic plans. But we do need to set up the test. I can do that for you and let you know when.”
“Thanks, Alice. And no matter what, we both want to keep you in our lives.”
“Aunt Alice, thank you. This is the happiest I’ve felt in a long time. You really are the best.”
*****
Several weeks later, Chris and Savannah were out to dinner, still trying to cope with her new-found wealth. Alice had been a great help, working with the trustee bank to get all the needed paperwork completed and a new, independent investment advisor picked out. Chris took the DNA test, and they were waiting on the results.
As they were talking quietly and sipping their wine, Savannah suddenly got a smile on her face.
“Do you know what today is, dad?”
Chris thought about all the important dates he could think of, but none of them were that day’s date.
“Today’s the day of the incident in Chicago. So Happy Getting Shot and Falling Into A Coma Day! Cheers!”
Laughing, the two shared a drink. Just then, Chris’ phone buzzed with an incoming message. He looked at the message, smiled, and put the phone away.
“So what was the message that gave you such a big smile? Spill it, dad.”
Looking at his daughter, Chris was filled with emotions. She was beautiful, successful, wicked smart, and the kindest person he knew; she was also sensuous, sexy, and fulfilled each and every fantasy of his in bed. And he knew she would make a wonderful mother and life companion.
“It was the DNA test results we’ve been waiting for.”
“And…?”
Smiling again, Chris reached out and took Savannah’s hands in his, holding them tight.
“So, how would you like to become an honest woman and marry me? To be my wife, my life companion, and the mother of my children.”
Savannah was quiet for a moment, trying to comprehend what Chris had just asked her. When it finally sunk in, she squealed in delight, leaned over their table, and kissed her soon to be husband.
“I take it you approve of my idea. If not, I could find someone else to ask.”
Smiling, Savannah slid next to Chris in the booth, pulled him close, and kissed him again.
“No need to ask anyone else. I fully approve of your idea, and can’t wait to be legally wed to you. I love you so much. This is a dream come true for me.”
Suddenly, Chris’ phone buzzed once again with an incoming message.
Congratulations on the good news. Let me know when the wedding is. Alice.
Savannah and Chris both laughed at the message.
“How does she do that?”
*****
Three years later
Chris was sitting in a pub in Darwin, N.T., Australia, engaged in a deep conversation with Nigel, the editor he’d been working with from National Geographic. For the better part of the past year, Chris had been working on a piece documenting changes in the coral reefs, as well as other underwater changes due to climate change, all around Australia. With Savannah at his side as his ‘right hand woman’, they’d been all around the country. Starting in Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef, they worked their way down the coast to Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney. After spending time in Tasmania, their trek continued west towards Perth; now they were at the end of their journey in Darwin.
As they talked, Savannah was lost in her own thoughts. The last three years had been a whirlwind of excitement, full of new adventures for the two of them.
First, after hearing the news from Alice, they decided to get married right away. They figured the quickest way was to go to Las Vegas and use one of the myriad wedding chapels available. After a short honeymoon stay at the Bellagio, they headed back to Savannah’s house to figure out their next moves.
Knowing how much money she now had, Savannah decided to sell her company and become Chris’ assistant. She had several purchase offers, but in the end, knowing how much she trusted the people she worked with, she decided to sell the company to her employees at a lower price, ensuring they were safely employed for the future. She also learned how to snorkel and scuba, as Chris did both of those in the course of his assignments.
Now, Savannah was sitting next to Chris as he and Nigel worked on another assignment, this time going to the Solomon Islands to document the underwater transformations taking place where some of the most violent sea battles of WWII took place. The same survey had taken place some 20 years earlier, so Chris was to detail the changes since then.
Rising from the table and shaking hands, the two men concluded their business.
“Right then, three days here to finish up, three days to rest and play tourist, and then we’ll see you in the Solomons ready to go once again. Savannah, always a pleasure. See you soon.”
Alone once again, Chris began to explain the job to Savannah.
“We’ll fly over and our base will be a house that was once used by an Australian coastwatcher during the war. His family still owns it, and has agreed to let us stay there for as long as we need. We’ll also have the use of two different research boats for the dives. I figure we’ll do at least two dives a day…
“Sweetie, are you ok? You seen to be in another world.”
Breaking her reverie, Savannah smiled at her husband and took his hands.
“It sounds great, Chris. But I probably won’t be doing any morning dives, at least for a while. Afternoons probably will be fine, but we’ll have to see.”
Chris looked at Savannah with a questioning look, not understanding. Normally she loved to dive with him as often as possible.
“Sweetie, what’s going on? Why so reluctant to do a morning dive?”
“Haven’t you noticed my lack of appetite most mornings, as well as my proclivity to spend lots of time in the bathroom? Think about it, Chris.”
Savannah smiled as she saw the wheels turning in Chris’ head. Suddenly, he smiled.
“You’re pregnant, right?”
Grabbing him in a ferocious hug, Savannah whispered ‘yes’.
“Oh my god, that’s great news, sweetie. But I thought we were being careful about this until we got home. What happened?”
“I think it was those really rough sea days where I was so seasick. I couldn’t keep anything down during the day, but at night I was fine. We couldn’t dive, so we spent all that time in bed; I lost track taking my pills some days, and other days I know I puked them up.
“Are you ok with this?”
“Ok? Savannah, I’m overjoyed. I’ve always known that you’ve wanted to have children, and now you will.
“If you think this assignment will be too difficult for you, I can call Nigel and cancel.”
“No, let’s do this. But when we’re done, I want to go home, ok?”
“Whatever you want, Savannah. Whatever you want.”
*****
The next month went by in a blur, as Chris was busy most every day. Their hosts, Evan and Christie, were wonderful, and Christie gave Savannah a local herb that eased her morning sickness to almost nothing. Consequently, she was able to do many more dives with Chris, something she truly enjoyed. She also spent time with Christie and her children, who were excited to share their adventures living on a tropical island.
Because the house was relatively close quarters, Savannah and Chris didn’t have much opportunity to be alone, so one day Christie told them they were taking the day for a sightseeing tour and an outdoor meal. Evan would drive, and then leave them alone for their picnic close to their house, but still private.
As he drove, Evan pointed out all sorts of wild flowers, trees, and a myriad of tropical plants never seen by the couple. Finally he stopped on top of a hill that gave them a 360 degree view of the island and the waters beyond. Savannah stepped out of their jeep and stared.
“Wow. I’ve never seen anything so beautiful, Evan. Thanks for bringing us here. Is it always this stunning?”
“Usually. But when the storms hit, I’m pretty sure you’d rather be in California than here. It can get pretty hairy at times. But days like this make up for the bad ones.”
As Christie and Evan unpacked the jeep, Savannah and Chris kept looking out over the landscape.
“Have you ever seen anything like this before, Chris?”
“Something similar several times, but nothing like this. Thanks for bringing us here, Evan.”
After unpacking the jeep, Christie gave Savannah a hug.
“Everything you need for a lovely American picnic is here. Sangers, fruit, water, and a nice soft blanket to use… any way you want. Remember, you’re out in the jungle, so if you get loud, nobody’s going to hear you. To get home, just follow the road – it’s a little less than a click. So take your time, and have fun.”
Giving her a wink, Christie got back in the jeep, and Evan followed. Soon Savannah and Chris were alone, and the only noises were those of the jungle and of their rumbling stomachs.
“I don’t know about you, but I’m starved. Let’s eat.”
After the food was eaten and the leftovers put away, Savannah stood before Chris, and without breaking eye contact with him, slowly stripped off her clothes. Soon she was naked; her long hair was pulled loose and hung over her shoulders, her luscious breasts stood proudly from her chest, her long legs were slightly spread, giving Chris a look at her rapidly moistening pussy, and her breath was beginning to quicken.
Before he could say anything, Savannah laid on the blanket, thighs spread open with her feet planted widely apart – opening herself up to her lover. Not wanting to waste another moment, Chris quickly stripped as well and lowered his face to his wife’s open pussy.
His first lick was tentative, barely touching her soft lips. But hearing Savannah’s moans, he began to lick her faster, working his tongue all around. He knew she was closing in on her first orgasm, so he slipped in a finger – and Savannah came with a loud gasp.
He kept licking and fingering, not letting her orgasm wane. When he sucked her clit into his mouth, Savannah screamed in pleasure and clamped her thighs around her lover’s head, trapping him where she wanted him most. Chris kept his oral attack going until Savannah finally pushed his head away.
“Stop, baby. Stop for a minute. Let me catch my breath.”
Soon, Savannah pulled Chris on top of her, opening her legs once again for her lover. Taking the hint, Chris swiped his rock-hard dick up and down her lips, spreading the moisture gathered there. Hearing her moans of pleasure, he then pushed his dick into her pussy, burying himself deep. More gasps and moans of pleasure ensued from both lovers, until finally Savannah’s climax overtook her, and she let all her emotions out as she screamed – a scream that was quickly engulfed by the jungle. But not quick enough.
Sitting on their deck enjoying a glass of wine, Christine and Evan were startled when a flock of birds flew from the branches of some nearby trees, squawking loudly at getting their afternoon nap interrupted. Laughing, Christine looked at Evan and toasted him with her glass.
“I guess our American friends are quite loud after all.”
*****
Some time later, Savannah woke from her post-sex nap to see Chris still sleeping. Smiling at the thought running through her mind, she slid her body down and gradually engulfed his half-hard dick into her mouth. She began to leisurely bob her head up and down, using her hands as well to bring him to a full, and satisfying tasting, erection. Soon Chris began to wake, and seeing his naked wife sucking him off, he moaned.
“Just lay here, baby, while I take care of you one more time.”
Enjoying the view and the feeling of Savannah’s mouth on him, Chris lay back and let Savannah have her way with him. Soon he felt a tingling in his balls, and warned her he was about to cum. She smiled at him but never stopped what she was doing. Shortly after, Chris grunted and began to fill her mouth with his semen. When she was sure she had fully sucked him dry, she swallowed and began to lick him clean. Soon they were laying together once again, their naked bodies holding the other close.
“You do that so well, sweetie. Thank you.”
“I’m glad you liked it. I have a feeling that pretty soon that’s probably all I’ll be able to do with you comfortably. And I’ll enjoy it more each time.”
Realizing it was beginning to get late, they dressed and headed towards the house. As they got close they could see Evan and Christine on the deck, wine glasses in hand, toasting the two lovers. Savannah immediately blushed, embarrassed by what their hosts had heard.
“So, by the color of Savannah’s face, I’m guessing you two had a good time.”
“Yes, the lunch was delicious… but the dessert was even better.”
Sharing a laugh, Christine pulled Savannah into a hug while Evan gave them some news.
“Nigel called while you were out, and there’s a series of storms heading this way. He said you had given him more than enough to work with, especially with the stories Savannah added. So he decided to end your assignment now; he’s sending a plane tomorrow to take you back to Cairns; you’ll then fly to Sydney to catch your flight home.”
“Home”, Savannah thought. “I haven’t thought about home for a long time. And now I get to go home and have my baby.”
The next day, after many hugs, kisses, tears, and the exchange of emails and mobile phone numbers, Savannah and Chris boarded the float plane to begin their trek back to the States. They overnighted in Cairns and then flew to Sydney, where they boarded their plane. And almost 17 hours later, they were landing in Los Angeles… and home.

Four years later
Chris slowly walked down the hall, stopping at the open door. Looking in, he saw Alice lying in the bed, sitting up, hooked up to several beeping machines. Her skin was pale and she looked like she was wasting away. Once she was a strong, vibrant, powerful woman; now that person had been replaced by someone else, someone who had lost her war with cancer. As he stepped into the room, Alice opened her eyes and smiled. Chris crossed to the bed and sat beside her, taking her hand in his.
“Alice, why didn’t you tell us you were sick? We could’ve been here for you, helping you like you’ve always helped us.”
“I didn’t want to burden you two with something you could do nothing about. I have no regrets, Chris. I’ve lived a long life, full of adventure, success beyond my wildest dreams, and love for my family. So where are my godchildren?”
“There’ll be here soon. I had errands to run, plus the girls had swimming lessons, so Savannah is bringing them. She should be here soon.”
“Good. Those two always make my day. They are so full of life…they remind me of Savannah when she was young. Always doing something. Getting into mischief. Laughing at the silliest things. Full of love.”
Chris was quiet, thinking back to when Savannah was so little. He had to agree with Alice – their girls were the spitting images of their mom at that age.
“Yeah, those were good days. She was so cute taking pictures with that Brownie camera you gave her, pretending to be me. I really thought she was going to take up photography full time eventually. But I guess her mom had other ideas. About a lot of things.”
Holding his hand tighter, Alice took a deep breath and looked Chris in the eye.
“Chris, I will forever be sorry I didn’t do more to tell my sister what an ass she was. She kicked you out for no good reason, and ruined your relationship with Savannah for too many years. I tried talking to her, but you know her, once her mind was made up, there was no changing it. And she was certain we were having an affair. How she ever got that idea, I can’t fathom. But that’s one of the reasons I kept away from you for those years. I didn’t want to fuel her fire anymore. But just so you know, I kept my eye on you all those years. I was so proud to call you my brother-in-law; anytime you had a show or an article in a magazine, I made sure to brag you up.”
A sudden coughing fit made Alice sit back in her bed. A nurse heard and stopped in to see if she was alright.
“I’m fine, sweetie. Just reminiscing. And yes, I’ll take it easy.”
After a quick check of Alice’s vitals, the nurse smiled and left.
Just then they heard Savannah’s voice in the hallway.
“Girls, stop running and wait for me. Remember, Auntie Alice isn’t feeling well, so be quiet and gentle with her. Ok?”
“Yes, mama. We will.”
Slowly coming around the corner and into the room, Savannah held the hands of twin girls, mini-me’s of their mom. Sparkling blue eyes that blazed with excitement and mischief and long, red hair tied into pony-tails, Chris swore he was looking at Savannah at that age. Then both girls broke away from their mom and ran toward their aunt and their dad. Luckily, Chris caught both of them before they jumped onto the bed. Alice looked at the girls and smiled.
“And how are my favorite nieces today? Did you have a good time swimming?”
“We did. We had a race at the end, and Sydney and me tied for first place.”
“That’s wonderful. Congratulations. So are you both turning into a mermaid like Ariel?”
The sound of giggling girls filled the room.
“Auntie Alice, you’re silly. We can’t live under water.”
“And if we tried, our fingers would turn wrinkly.”
After filling their aunt in on everything they did that day, Chris told the girls to give their aunt a kiss; that she was getting tired so they needed to leave soon. Both girls did like their father asked, both giving Alice a hug and kiss. When they finished, Chris took them out.
“We’ll leave you two alone for awhile. Alice, I’ll see you tomorrow. Sleep well.”
Leaning over to give her a kiss on her cheek, Alice held onto Chris and whispered into his ear.
“You take good care of my girls, Chris. I love you.”
Savannah held her aunt’s hand while she lightly napped. She knew how much Alice loved seeing the girls, but all their energy simply wore her out, and Savannah wasn’t sure how much more energy Alice had.
Soon, Chris stuck his head into the room, telling Savannah he was going to take the girls home. They were tired and hungry and getting feisty.
“Stay as long as you want. I’ll take the van; you take my car, and I’ll see you when you get home. I love you.”
Giving him kiss, Savannah marveled at how her life had changed with Chris. First he was her father, then he was gone from her life when her mother kicked him out, only to return to her life, and almost die; then it turned out he wasn’t her biological father, and now he was her husband and father to their own girls. Seeing how he loved and doted on the girls made her wonder how she could have ever thought less of him as her father.
“Ah, you’re still here. Good.”
“I’ll stay as long as you want me to, Alice. Chris is taking the girls home.”
“Chris is certainly a good man. I knew it from the first moment I met him. And when Susan thought the worst of him, I knew he was a good man. And a wonderful father.”
“I just wish I knew then what I know now. Wasting all those years hating him for leaving me when in fact he had no choice. I really hate her for what she did to all of us.”
“I know, I did too. But I finally had to give up the hate or else it was going to consume me. And you, Savannah, need to do the same thing. I’m not telling you to forgive and forget, because you won’t ever forget. But I’m asking you to let go of what your mother did to you and embrace what your life is now. You’ve got two beautiful girls who remind me so much of you at that age. So full of life; so filled with mischief; so eager to learn about everything; so full of love. Embrace all of that and never let it go.”
Alice laid back in bed and closed her eyes, breathing slowly. Savannah let her be, and continued to hold her aunt’s hand. Could she do that? Could she finally let go of the hatred she held inside for her mother for all she had done to hurt her and Chris all those years ago? As those thoughts ran though her head, she closed her eyes and fell asleep, alongside her aunt.
Several hours later, Alice woke, only to find Savannah still holding her hand, asleep in the bedside chair.
“Savannah, sweetie. Wake up.”
Jerking awake, Savannah was lost for a moment, not sure of where she was. Seeing Alice in the bed woke her fully.
“I guess I dozed off for a while. Are you ok?”
“I’m fine. I need you to promise me something.”
“Sure. What is it?”
“In the top drawer of the nightstand is a business card. Please get it out.”
Opening the drawer, Savannah saw a card which simply read ‘Foster MacDonald’, along with a phone number.
“I want you to promise me that when I go, the first thing you do is call that number. No matter what time of day or night, someone will answer. Tell them who you are and that I’m gone, and they’ll take care of everything.”
“Auntie, don’t talk like that. I can’t see you going anywhere without a fight.”
“Sweetie, never kid a kidder. I’ve lost my fight – I know that now. But I’ve arranged everything for my funeral; it’s all planned out and paid for. Someone will be in contact with you to give you all the details.”
“Ok, but who is this Foster MacDonald?”
“Not a who, but a them. I told you long ago that I worked for a number of powerful men and women, and this is the last thing they’ll need to do for me.”
Suddenly, Alice was overtaken with a coughing fit loud enough to get the attention of a nurse, who came hurrying in.
“Alice, are you ok? What can I get you?”
Sipping the water the nurse gave her, Alice finally stopped coughing.
“Thanks, Emily. I think I’ll be ok now.”
“Alright, but take it easy, ok?”
Smiling and patting Alice’s hand, the nurse turned and left the two women alone.
After resting for a while, Alice opened her eyes and looked her niece in the eye.
“Savannah, I want you to promise me you’ll do as I ask. Please.”
“I promise, auntie. I will. I’m just trying to figure out how to tell the girls when it happens.”
“Don’t worry about that – between you and Chris, you’ll figure it out.
“Now, I have one more request of you. I would like it if you would say a few words at my celebration of life. I already have three other people who will talk, but I want you, my flesh and blood, to do so as well. Please.”
“Really? I’m having a difficult time holding it together with just you and me. How am I supposed to do that in front of lots of people? I’m not sure I can do that.”
“Sure you can. You’ve spoken to boards of directors, powerful politicians, captains of industry; you’ve run your own successful company. Yes, you can do this… for me.”
The two women sat quietly for a while, holding hands but not speaking. Both knew Savannah would do this last request from her aunt, no matter how reluctant she might be. Looking over at Alice, Savannah noticed she had fallen asleep once again, but with a smile on her face. Leaning over, Savannah gave her a kiss on her forehead, took her hand in hers, and fell asleep herself, not realizing her aunt would never wake up.

Epilogue
Two years later, Chris was sitting outside on their deck with both of his daughters at his side. They were looking through several picture albums of when the girls were much younger, laughing at how they all looked. There were also pictures of Savannah during high school, college, and after college. When they turned a page, there were pictures of the girls sitting on Alice’s lap as she read them a story. Both girls got quiet as they studied the pictures.
“I miss Auntie Alice. I’m sad she can’t be with us anymore.”
“I miss her laugh. She would laugh so much when she was here. I miss her too.”
“We all miss her, but by looking at the pictures, we can remember what she was like and how much fun she was. So it’s ok to be sad, but it’s better to remember how much we all loved her. Ok?”
The girls agreed, and then turned to another page of pictures, pictures that brought Chris back to a scary time in his life.
“Daddy, is that you? Why are you in bed with your head all wrapped up?”
As Alicia spoke, Savannah stepped onto the deck to see what her family was up to. Hearing the question, she panicked, not knowing if she should say something or not. She looked at Chris who simply smiled at her.
“Yes, that’s me. But it’s almost your bed time. How about if I make this your bedtime story? So go brush your teeth and change into your jammies, hop into bed, and I’ll be right there.”
As the twins scampered away, Savannah sat with Chris, a serious look on her face.
“Are you sure about this, Chris? Can you tell them what happened without scaring them, especially at bedtime?”
“Yes, I’m sure. I’ve always known this day would come, so I’ve been plotting out the story in my head for some time. Come and listen for yourself.”
“I’ll listen, but from the hallway. I want this to be your time and your story with the girls.”
Several minutes later, Savannah was tucking her daughters in, while giving them good night kisses. Stepping into the hallway, she kissed Chris as well.
“Remember, don’t scare them, otherwise you’ll be the one getting up with them and dealing with their nightmares.”
Laughing, Chris snuggled up to his twins and began his tale.
“Once upon a time, a long time ago, in a far away city called Chicago, lived a brave man and a beautiful woman. Beside being beautiful, the woman was strong, smart, and brave herself…”
Not wanting to relive that awful time again, Savannah quietly stepped away and waited for Chris, sitting on the sofa. As she waited, Savannah realized that she finally had forgiven her mother for what she had done. And Savannah was grateful, because if her mother hadn’t kicked Chris out and divorced him all those years ago, then Savannah wouldn’t have had the life she’s lived. And she truly has lived a wonderful life, made even better by her daughters… and her husband… who started in her life as her father. Confusing? Yes, but life is often confusing, and sometimes downright perplexing. But the trick, she learned long ago, is to just take one day at a time; love the people around you; and make sure the ones who are closest to you know how much they are loved by you.
Just then, Savannah heard Chris tell the girls good night.
“Good night, daddy. Thank you for the story.”
“You’re welcome. I love you both. Good night.”
Hearing her husband coming down the hallway, Savannah knew their fairy tale life would always have a happy ending.
