“ Baby what is going on?” She asks whispering in my ear
“ I just don’t want them around me right now. Sorry if I am being a pain.” I say a bit hurt whispering to her
“ Your not a pain baby I was just concerned that’s all.” She tells me placing a kiss on my chest
We get in the shuttle van and seated when Adam starts looking around as my ladies and I are in the very back seat.
“ Where’s Michelle as she was just about to get in?” Adam asks as I speak up
“ In the second shuttle van bro.” I say as he looks behind us with a sad expression
“ Oh.” Is all he says as he turns around
I know it’s cruel and all, but right now I don’t want anyone that supports Travis around me. I have tried to forgive him, but that voice in my head says no. I guess my godmothers haven’t noticed yet of my distancing away from them, but my mother and Faye have as they each have tried to talk to me as I just walk away leaving them with tears. Once our luggage was placed in the van. The drivers started for our hotel. I made it where my loves and the kids were on a completely different floor then the family.
I wanted to be far away from the mothers, Travis, Kaye, and Michelle. I couldn’t explain why, but I just had to make it this way. Once we reached the hotel and checked in. We took two elevators up to our rooms after checking in. Once my brothers and sisters stepped off they looked at us confused as the elevator doors closed taking my four loves and kids up to the next floor. Once we reached the floor we stepped off to only make our way down a few doors to be shown into our room alright. I shocked those that I loved with a penthouse suite. The kids jumped up and down excited as they went in looking every where.
“ Heath what the hell baby? This is huge for a hotel room.” Diamond asks as the bell boy grinned before he spoke
“ This is a penthouse suite ma’am.” He says as all four of my ladies went wide eyed
“ NO WAY!” They all said in unison as they tackled me followed by the kids
The bell boy chuckled seeing the scene in front of him. After a few minutes I was helped up to tip the man that placed our luggage in the rooms. After he left and we got the kids calmed down my loves and I started to relax to be ready for a full day tomorrow.
The next morning being a Saturday started out with breakfast with the family. As I ate I looked to see all the mothers looking at me with great concern. I guess it finally kicked in that I was ignoring them. My own mother gave me a deep expression of worry as she looked at the other mothers who gave her the same looks.
“ Heath honey is it ok if us grandmothers take the kids for the day?” My mother asks as I look around the table to see everyone looking at me
I scoot my chair back and stand as they all look at me. I give each of my loves a hug telling Jazzy, Diamond, and Tiffany that it was up to them on this vacation about the kids. I told everyone I would see them at Disneyland. I left making my way out catching a cab to go on ahead. I make it to the park to see cars starting to pull in as I sit on a bench to wait for my family or should I say Travis’s family. I can’t shake this feeling that he is out to take everything I have and everyone I love.
I shake the thoughts out of my head as I watch families and little kids start to make their way into the park that houses Disney world. As a kid I never got to come here, but now that I am here I don’t feel all that excited now. I guess the hurt I have gone through the past years has numbed my excitement. It’s about 30 minutes later that I hear ‘ Daddy daddy’ as I look up to see Karen and my boys running to me. I stay where I am as they get to me. I give each of them a hug as my four fiances get to me with worried expression.
I stand as each one gives me a hug and kiss over my heart. Once all my family are near I start for the ticket booth and give them my name. The ticket person looks before giving me a smile. She hands me vouchers that show my name on them. I give her the money before handing tickets to my ladies, brothers except Travis, my sisters except Kaye and Michelle. I then hand the rest to Karen and tell her to take them to grandpa Mike to hand out. I raise up after she nods making her way to him.
I see the hurt on the mothers as each accept what they are handed. I turn taking Hannah and Tiffany’s hands as they take each of their sisters hands, Jasmine and Diamond’s. We walk in as the kids go with the parents, Kaye, Michelle, Adam, and Travis. Chris and Selena go with Jack, Sierra, and Mandy in one direction. My loves and I go to look around by ourselves to see what this place has to offer.
As the morning goes by and I notice I forgot my cell phone. Jasmine sends a text to ask where to meet for lunch. After everyone sends a text back we make our way to a food area. Once we get together I see Lil Greg being held by Travis. I cringe at my son being held on Travis’s left hip, but I don’t make a scene as to not ruin my kids day. The mothers notice but don’t say anything as they start to order for the kids and themselves. I don’t eat anything as I only get a ice tea in which gets my mother’s attention.
“ Heath you need to eat honey.” She tells me as I just shrug my shoulders before I answer
“ I haven’t really been hungry as of late. Guess something put a bad taste in my mouth.” I say looking from her to Travis
She shakes her head as if trying to hold back tears. I go find a seat as I wait for my ladies to order what they want. As I sit there I think of my emotions. I am so freaking numb towards the mothers, my two sisters Kaye and Michelle, and Travis. I look over and feel disgusted as Momma Ellie talks to Travis smiling as momma Kiko does the same. I see Mike looking over at me as I just turn my head to look at the roller coaster ride I should try out later in the week. Everyone comes back as Jasmine hands me my Ice tea as she sits by me on my left as Diamond sits on my right. They all eat as I sip on my tea. My kids are all excited asking where they going next. I see Karen with stickers of a few characters on her face. I look at each of my kids and can only smile at each one.
After lunch everyone goes around, but this time we all go as a family as suggested by my three godfathers. I guess they didn’t want to get lost again. The guys win stuff animals from a few of the games that are around as I do the same. As the day starts coming to a close at Disney everyone starts to leave around 6 p.m. My family stays until it just barely gets dark. I think of something as I see the mothers still hanging around Travis. I smirk as I tell the family to go ahead as I wanted to have a brother’s night out for a few hours. My ladies look at me concerned as I nod. Each one gives me a hug and kiss before I give each of my kids a hug and kiss on the forehead even Lil Heath. As the family all get in rental cars that Mike rented for the week. As they drive off I hear Travis speak up for the first time in 5 hours.
“ So where are we going?” He asks as I turn to look at him with cold eyes
“ To Hell.” I say as I see his eyes go wide with fear
“ Heath what is going on? What are you planning to do?” Travis asks as I look at Jack and Chris
They both see my eye movements as I look at Travis. Each one grabs his arms as I lead them to a dark area of the park. I hear him talking loudly asking again what was going on. Adam comes running up beside me.
“ Heath bro what are you going to do?” Abs ask as I find the spot that will be perfect
“ Well bro I am going to make Travis wish he was never born.” I say as Adam looks from me to Travis
“ No Heath please I am sorry for everything I have done to you. I love you Champ.” Travis tells me overhearing what I said
“ Bullshit you stole the mothers away from me just as you did Maggie and Michelle all those years ago. You want me out of the way fine. After I kick your ass you can have it all…..the Moms, Michelle…..I just don’t care anymore Travis.” I say as his eyes go wide
“ I…I don’t want everything you have. I just want my brother to love me again. I am sorry about the moms it’s just they think I am not part of the family because you’ve been reluctant to forgive me like you did Michelle, Kaye, and Mom. Please Champ we can talk this out. Champ?” He tells me as I motion Jack and Chris to let him go
He looks at them as they turn to look around. I turn to see Adam shaking his head before turning himself to keep watch. I look at Travis who has a look of fear and worry as I just rush him giving him a hard tackle to the ground. He screams in pain as his back hits hard. I pull my arm back as I place my fist into the left side of his face. I don’t let up until he shoves me off off him. He gets up and starts in on me in which I counter grabbing his right wrist with my right hand as I bring my left elbow into his right ribs. He lets out a gasp as I hit his ribs again. I twist his wrist as he yells. He struggles getting loose from my grip as I feel a hit to my own face from his punch. I bring my knee up to his gut making him bend over as I pick him up onto my shoulders only to flip him onto the ground. I take a few steps back as to wait for him to get up.
“ Come on you shit for brains. You want my life then earn it.” I say as he shakes his head to get up on all fours
As I start for my kick to Travis’s head I see someone move in the way to Travis’s side. I can’t stop my momentum as I bring my foot into who ever the person is. I hear a loud scream as I place my foot down after the kick. Chris and Jack come over. I look around and don’t see Adam. That is when it hits me. I slowly turn my head and my eyes go wide as I see Adam on the ground holding his left ribs. I take a few steps back from shock.as I see my best friend who is a brother laying there next to Travis. I don’t know what to think now. I feel my heart racing fast as my chest starts to hurt. I see Jack helping Travis as Chris helps Adam.
“ Adam you alright man?” Chris asks as Adam nods
“ Yeah just some pain. How is Heath and Travis?” Adam says asking as I keep backing up
