“I’m going to a party with Freddie.” He finally decided on a dark blue pullover shirt and pulled it on. He turned to his sister, smiling, knowing where she would go with that info.
“Oh. Finally giving in to those latent homosexual desires of yours?” Cindy grinned.
“You know it, girlfriend.” Simon spoke with an exaggerated lisp, snapping his fingers at the end of his sentence. “I just can’t deny it anymore.”
Cindy laughed at her brother, briefly picturing him making out with Freddie. Unfortunately, Freddie’s form was quickly replaced with her own in the daydream. She grunted and shook her head, willing the vision gone.
“You ok?” Simon saw her grimace and approached her. He placed one arm around her shoulders and squeezed. Cindy, reflexively, wrapped one of her arms around his waist and laid her head on his shoulder for a moment. She couldn’t understand these feelings she was having for him.
He smelled good and it wasn’t just his cologne. Underneath, she knew his scent, having lived with him for so long. She inhaled deeply once before pulling away. Simon seemed to regretfully let her go. She smiled her thanks at him.
“Well, I’ll let you finish getting ready. Are you taking Jodi too?” Cindy noticed Simon stiffen momentarily at her comment. “You are taking her, aren’t you?”
“No. As far as I know, Jodi was not invited and I hadn’t mentioned it to her.” Simon was a little uncomfortable. Technically, he and Jodi were not dating quite yet. Realistically, he knew they were a couple in nearly every way. But she didn’t want a serious relationship right away and never said he couldn’t ‘play the field’, so to speak, until they officially got together. At least that’s what he kept trying to tell himself.
“So you’re going to a party without her?” Cindy dared to hope that he might not hook up with Jodi.
“It’s more for Freddie’s benefit than mine. It’ll give him a better chance to hook up. I’m just the wingman.” Simon stated.
“Sure. Wingman. Whatever. We all have our delusions, far be it from me to take away yours.” Cindy chuckled and went up the stairs. Simon was close behind. She added a little extra sway to her ass as she climbed the stairs.
She knew she should say something, but a dark urge held her tongue. There was no way anyone could believe he was just doing this for a friend. If he messed up his blossoming relationship with Jodi then all the better.
“Well, have a good time I guess. Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.” She said.
“If I followed that adage, I wouldn’t ever do anything, Cin.” Simon laughed. He walked over to her, gave a brief brotherly hug, and left. She sighed, feeling lonely without him around.
*****
Simon knocked on the door of the large house. Village Green was the upper class area of town with most of the houses within walking distance of one of the public golf courses. Not that anyone would walk there. How else could you display how rich you were if you didn’t drive your huge SUV four blocks to play golf?
Simon had to admit that the house was very nice. It still had a green vibrant lawn despite the weather turning colder lately. He waited patiently at the door, while Freddie fidgeted nervously.
“You’re going to embarrass the hell out of yourself if you don’t mellow out, Freddie.”
“I know, it’s just . . . I’ve never been to one of Roxanne’s parties before.”
“Why should that matter? It’s just a party, right?” Simon asked.
“Yes and no. You see, Roxanne’s parties have a certain reputation for . . .” Freddie cut himself off as the door opened.
Standing before them was a hulking mass of a brute. Simon recognized him as Jasper, Roxanne’s brother and starting tight end on the football team. Jasper scowled as he scanned the two individuals before him. It seemed to Simon that he was busy trying to decide whether to talk to them or eat them. Having decided, he spoke, “What?”
“Uh hi. I’m Simon and . . .”
“What do you want?” Jasper interrupted.
“Jasper! Who’s at the door?” a voice called from inside the house.
“It’s Krueger and some other guy.” Jasper yelled back into the house. He turned his head back to Simon and Freddie, “They were just leaving.” A subtle menace underlined his statement. Jasper backed up to close the door when a hand stopped him.
“Don’t be rude to our guests, Jasper. I invited them.” Roxanne’s gorgeous face appeared in the doorway, followed shortly by her exquisite body.”Don’t mind him. He’s just a little overprotective. Come on in.” She reached out and grabbed Simon’s arm. Simon, briefly looking back at Jasper, allowed himself to be pulled into the house. Simon wasn’t sure if he could take him in a fight, but knew he did not want to find out.
The interior of the house was just as nice as the exterior. Standing in the living room, it seemed to be a homey place. It wasn’t just a room used to impress others upon entry. It gave off an air of welcome and friendliness, rather than a standoffishness he came to expect from these types of homes. He also noticed that there was no one else here.
“I’m so glad you two could make it.” Roxanne seemed to bounce in excitement as she turned towards Simon. She was wearing a light green blouse and black mini skirt. She had pantyhose running up her legs under the skirt. She briefly posed sexily as Simon’s gaze roamed over her body.
“Wouldn’t have missed it.” Simon said guardedly. “So where is everyone else?”
“Oh they’re all down stairs. Can I get you guys something to drink? We’ve got beer, soda, coffee, tea, or . . .” Roxanne left off the implied ending of that statement while glancing at Simon.
“I’ll take a beer.” Freddie piped up; causing Roxanne to suddenly realize there was someone else with them.
“Water or a soda will be fine for me.” Simon said.
“What no beer?” Roxanne led them into the kitchen. Opening the fridge, she bent over at the waist. Her skirt rode up her backside, exposing the tops of her nylons and the clasps attached to them. Simon and Freddie both swallowed with some difficulty.
“Ah no . . . no beer.” Simon said. Roxanne looked back, still bent over, at Simon. He blushed, having been caught staring. “Can’t stand the stuff.”
“That’s too bad.” Roxanne said, standing back up. She handed a beer to Freddie and a cola to Simon.
“Why’s that?” Simon questioned, cracking his soda.
“I was hoping to take advantage of you tonight.” Roxanne smiled seductively. She stood there just looking at him. Simon’s jaw dropped, not expecting her to be so forward. She started giggling, which quickly devolved into full blown laughter. “Oh my God, you should see the look on your face. I wish I had a camera with me.” She held her sides, her face turning slightly red because of her giggles. Freddie nearly sprayed his beer, as he erupted in laughter.
Catching the joke, Simon laughed, but it was strained. Most people might think he was just the butt of joke. Simon, while inexperienced in most social situations, was still good at reading some people. Roxanne’s mirth never reached her eyes. Her laughter sounded slightly forced to him. The arms holding her sides were strategically placed to lift and squeeze her breasts together.
It was all planned. She continued to look him in the face, her eyes still glittering. She gently bit her lower lip as she giggled. She was good. Freddie was completely fooled as he took another sip from his beer. Simon was glad he had his soda. His mouth suddenly dry, he took a drink. He was going to need all of his mental faculties to fence with this hot little firecracker.
“Shall we go downstairs?” Roxanne asked, blinking her eyelashes prettily.
“Lead on.” said Freddie.
Roxanne opened the door and walked down. Lighting was at a minimum in the basement. Simon had to concentrate on each step down as his eyes adjusted to the darkness. There were several chairs and couches arranged around a large flat screen television. From the glow of the TV, Simon noticed several couples; most ignoring what was on the screen.
Simon recognized a few of the people down there, at least the ones from his school anyways. He also noticed that the girls outnumbered the boys. In fact, there was at least one pair of girls making out in one of the far corners. Roxanne walked up to and introduced them to a tall brunette.
“Freddie,” Roxanne spoke softly, “this is Melinda. She’s a swimmer at North high.” She definitely had a swimmer’s body with long arms and legs. Her breasts may have been a little on the small side, but she was in terrific shape.
“Hey.” He eloquently said.
Melinda quickly glanced at Roxanne and pulled Freddie onto the couch next to her. Freddie didn’t even look back. Simon caught the glance, even in the low light. This was definitely a set up. Simon backed towards the stairs, feeling extremely uncomfortable. Simon began to ascend the stairs. He was nearly at the top when a hand on his ankle stopped him.
“And just where do you think you’re going?” Roxanne climbed his pants, hand over hand, as she walked up the stairs behind him. The look in her eyes, now that he was alone, was unmistakable. Her prey was within reach and she was not letting it get away.
“I appreciate the invite,” Simon continued backing out into the kitchen, “but this really isn’t my kind of scene.”
“Really? So what exactly is your scene?” Roxanne still had a hand on Simon’s shirt. She pushed him back up against the refrigerator. “Are you shy? You want a little more privacy?” She placed her other hand on his chest and started caressing his chest. She wrapped her hands in his shirt collar and pulled him down, kissing him fiercely. He tried to gasp but it was intercepted as her tongue snaked its way into his now open mouth.
Roxanne thrust her body into his, encasing his thigh between her legs and rubbing herself on him. Her hands quickly made their way down to his pants. She made short work of his belt buckle and had his pants undone before he could even grab her hands. She captured his bottom lip between her teeth as he pushed her away. Roxanne finally relinquished but not before drawing a little blood.
