A literotic sexstories: Summer on the Ranch by Chuckfinly ,
This is a true story. My coming of age story. This is about the summer I was finally with a female. It is a slow build without some of the outlandish stuff in the fiction stories. I could embellish it but I decided to keep it as true to my memories as I can from about 25 years ago some of the words are probably not exact but are close and any differences are not enough to change the context. I hope you enjoy.
First some background. I am a 5th generation California cattle rancher. I have been riding horses and working cattle since before I started kindergarten. By the time I was in high school I was tougher than most grown men and was an outstanding cowboy. This story starts the summer between my freshman and sophomore years of high school right after school got out for the summer. As we drove down the winding dirt road towards the ranch, my heart was racing with excitement and nervousness. I couldn’t believe I was going to spend the summer on my best friend Joe’s family’s cattle ranch. I was finally getting away from home and my parents for a while, but the circumstances that brought me there were far from ideal.
Joe’s father had passed away unexpectedly a few weeks before, and the family was struggling to keep the ranch running on their own. That’s where I came in. Our families were long time friends. Our mothers were best friends from childhood. My parents essentially offered me for the summer to help run the ranch. As I sat in the truck looking out the window and the rolling hills, the reality of the situation quickly set in. Joe’s family was grieving the loss of their father, and they were counting on me to help keep their livelihood afloat. I felt a weight of responsibility settling onto my shoulders.
Joe’s mother, Sue, was driving the pickup truck and chatting with us about all the work that needed to be done on the ranch. Joe and his sister Beth both grew up ranching, just like me, and we were cut from the same cloth you could say. They were tough and determined to move forward but there was a certain sadness that hung in the air.
As we pulled up to the main house, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of empathy for Joe’s family. I knew all too well the toll that ranch life could take on a family, especially when they were dealing with the loss of a loved one. I was also eager to lend a helping hand. I knew that the work would be hard, but it was a small price to pay to help out a family in need. As I stepped out of the truck, the warm sun and the familiar smells of the ranch hit me, and I felt at home. This was my world, and I was ready to do my part to keep it running.
As we worked throughout the coming days, I felt like I was right at home. There was a sense of familiarity in the way we worked together, and I had known Joe, Beth, and Sue all my life. They were like family.
Here is where the story starts to build a few days into this experience. As we took a break from our work, Joe and Beth headed into the main house to grab some water, leaving me and Sue to chat for a bit. “I’m so glad you’re here to help us out,” Sue said, smiling warmly. “It’s been a tough time for us, and having an extra set of hands really makes a difference.”
I nodded in agreement, feeling a sense of pride in the work we had accomplished so far. But as I looked towards the main house, I couldn’t help but notice Beth. She was standing in the doorway, wiping sweat from her forehead, and I felt a sudden pang of attraction. She was beautiful, with long, sun-kissed hair and bright blue eyes that sparkled in the sunlight. I had known her for years, but I had never really seen her in this way before. Maybe it was the way her hair was pulled back in a messy bun, or the way her work boots looked worn and comfortable on her feet. Or, maybe I had just gotten older and gone through puberty. Beth was five years older than me (20) and home from college for the summer. I tried to shake the thoughts from my head, knowing that it wasn’t the right time or place to be thinking about things like that. After all, she was my best friend’s sister and they had just lost their father. But as the day wore on, I found myself stealing glances at Beth when I thought no one was looking. She moved with a grace that was both effortless and powerful, and I couldn’t help but feel drawn to her.
As the sun began to set, we all headed inside to grab some dinner. Sue had cooked up a big pot of chili, and we all sat around the table, enjoying the warmth of the fire and the comfort of a good meal. As we ate, the conversation turned to more personal topics. Joe talked about his plans for the future, and Beth shared stories of her time in college. And as she spoke, I found myself listening intently, captivated by her intelligence and humor. After dinner, we all sat outside on the porch, watching the stars twinkle in the night sky. Beth sat next to me, and I felt a sudden jolt of electricity when our arms accidentally brushed against each other. I tried to focus on the conversation, but my mind kept wandering back to her. She was smart, beautiful, and capable, and I couldn’t help but wonder what it would be like to be with her.
As the days turned into weeks, I found myself settling into a routine at the ranch. We woke up early each morning to tend to the animals, and spent the rest of the day fixing fences, clearing brush, and tending to the land. The work was hard, but it was also rewarding and I was proud of the work we were doing. But as I worked alongside Beth, I found myself becoming increasingly distracted. She was always in the back of my mind, her image burned into my thoughts. I found myself seeking her out, looking for excuses to work near her or talk to her. I knew it was foolish, but I couldn’t help it.
One day, as we were working in the fields, Beth and I were paired up to work on fixing a fence. As we worked, we chatted idly about our lives, our hopes and dreams, and everything in between.
At one point, Beth looked over at me and smiled. “You know, you are pretty fucking good you are with your hands,” she said, gesturing to the fence. “I wonder what else they can do?” she said with a flirty smile. I felt a flush of heat rise to my cheeks. “Uh, thanks,” I stammered, feeling both embarrassed and flattered. I really had no idea what to say. Even now I am not sure if she was actually flirting or just making conversation. We worked in silence for a few minutes, until Beth spoke up again. “So, have you ever thought about going to college?” she asked, her voice curious.
I shook my head. “Nah, I don’t think it’s for me. I’m more of a hands-on kind of person, you know?” I told her I would eventually take over our ranch and I was thinking about firefighting on top of that. She said she always thought firefighters were hot. I did not know what to say and just kept working with the barbed wire. As the days passed, I found myself drawn more and more to Beth. We worked well together, our movements in sync, and I found myself looking forward to spending time with her. But I knew that I couldn’t act on my feelings, not now, when Joe and his family were still grieving the loss of their father. But despite my best intentions, the attraction between us continued to grow. I found myself looking for excuses to touch her, to brush up against her, to feel the warmth of her body next to mine.
One night, as we were sitting on the porch swing, watching the stars, I finally found the courage to speak up. “Beth, I need to tell you something,” I said. She turned to look at me, her eyes curious. “What is it?” I took a deep breath. “I think you’re amazing. I’ve always thought so, but I didn’t realize it until I came here and started working with you. I know it’s crazy, but I can’t help how I feel.” Beth looked at me for a long moment, her eyes searching mine. I felt a knot form in my stomach, fearing that I had just ruined everything. But then, to my surprise, she leaned over and kissed me softly on the lips. As we sat there on the porch, wrapped in each other’s arms, my heart was racing with excitement. I couldn’t believe that Beth had just kissed me. It was my first kiss, and I was frozen at first not knowing what to do. For a moment, we just sat there, savoring the feeling of our lips pressed together. I could feel the warmth of her body next to mine, and I was acutely aware of every sensation – the softness of her lips, the taste of her breath, the way her hand felt on the back of my neck. As we pulled away, I looked into her eyes and saw a mixture of emotions – surprise, excitement, and something else that I couldn’t quite identify. “I…I don’t know what to say,” I stammered, feeling a little overwhelmed. Beth just smiled at me, her eyes shining with happiness. “You don’t have to say anything,” she said, reaching out to take my hand. “Just…enjoy the moment.” And so we did. We sat there for what felt like hours, just talking and laughing and enjoying each other’s company. It felt like we were the only two people in the world, and nothing else mattered. As the night wore on, she eventually went into the house and I headed to the bunk house but I couldn’t sleep. My mind was buzzing with thoughts of Beth, and the kiss we had shared. I knew that things were about to get more complicated, but I couldn’t help but feel excited about what was to come.
Over the next few days, Beth and I continued to work on the ranch, but there was a new energy between us. We stole glances at each other whenever we could, and there was a constant buzz of electricity between us. One afternoon, as we were working in the barn, I finally worked up the nerve to ask her out on a real date. “Beth, would you like to go into town with me this weekend?” I asked, my voice hopeful. She looked up at me, a smile spreading across her face. “I’d love to,” she said, her eyes sparkling with excitement. And so, that weekend, she borrowed the truck and drove us into town using the excuse we needed to get some supplies. We laughed and talked and held hands as we explored the shops and town, and I felt more alive than I ever had before.
