Clinging to Steven after her usual threesome with Tom and Claire, Emily is revealing highlights of their pillow talk this evening.
“Tom is questioning why we need to sit down and talk about our little adventure this week.”
“Because we need to put our heads together and find another way to get our rocks off with this adrenalin play. You and Tom had a really close call. Too close. Disaster close. Have you run into that guy yet after he saw you? You said you sometimes see him in the lunchroom.”
“Not so far.”
“You think something will come of it?”
“There’s no way of telling.”
“I guess you’ll deal with it however you have to. You ready? You fetch Tom and I’ll track Dee down.”
Em and Steve take their usual seats next to each other at the kitchen table. Denise sort of stumbles in, grumbling about having her second orgasm attempt with Sid interrupted by Steve.
Tom pulls out a chair and sits backwards, leaning his folded arms on the seat back. He’s still questioning the need for this little committee meeting. “What’s your point here, Steven?”
“You and Emily nearly crashed the airplane. The five of us have our thing with high-risk sex play, and from what Em told me, you and she came damn close to everything being outed.”
“I know that, Steve. Jamming ourselves into that electrical closet for an hour was certainly reminder enough.”
“I guess what I want to do here is to talk about risk reduction for all of us. We all seem to be getting carried away and even amping it up. You and Em on Wednesday was way too close, Tom. So was that little episode in the field behind the house last month. Em came damn near getting busted for indecent and it was my fault.”
“But I came four times!” Emily mutters under her breath.
They chuckle.
Denise suggests, “Tom, you and I have had our own near-misses, so I’ve been thinking about it quite a bit. I have an idea for the warehouse.”
“Okay?”
“Since I’m in charge of security, what about instituting a pre-notice policy on the warehouse areas that don’t have full-time staff? Now that we’re a little busier, we apparently can’t count on the backup warehouse being a safe place to play without some kind of warning system.”
“Pre-notice?”
“Yeah. Boils down to letting me or Sally know when there’s going to be activity in the unsupervised locations. We keep the keycard access locked for everybody ‘cept us unless there is notice. Also serves as an inventory control measure. We’ve had some pilferage. Not major, but enough to catch accounting’s attention.”
“Who are you going to allow access to for ‘off’ times?”
“You, me, Em, and Danny. Werner, too.”
“Won’t the auditors question why Em and Danny are on the list?”
“If they ask, easy answer. They need independent access outside of materials handling to settle inventory discrepancies.”
“What about deliveries where we have little or no advance notice?”
“I’ll talk to George before changing anything. I suspect he or his guys get a heads-up when something is coming in off-schedule. Guys? Would an hour’s notice be enough?”
“Might be,” Emily contemplates. “Tom?”
“Probably. You figuring on e-mail to everybody when somebody requests access?”
“Yes,” DeeDee confirms. “The system can be programmed for automatic notice to a list when Sal or I turn on temporary permissions.”
Steve muses, “That sounds good from my end. All you have to do then is check your e-mail when the mood strikes… Tom…”
Tom grimaces.
“…and you’ll know then that you’ll have to use the VIP suite.”
Tom sighs, “That seems reasonable. I can pitch it to the exec committee as an inventory control measure. Dee? Just how much theft you think we’re getting?”
“Enough to notice. Mostly common hardware, Tom. Literally nuts and bolts. And washers.”
Steve, Em, and Tom chuckle at “washers”.
She goes on, “You guys laugh, but we’re talking about boxes of Grade 8 fasteners vanishing. They’re not cheap.”
“Okay. Get me a number I can assign dollars and cents to.”
“I can do that, Tom,” Emily responds. “Discrepancy reports will answer that.”
“Good enough. Steve? What are you doing about your end of this?”
“I think you already know most of it. My edict three weeks ago about no nudity in front of the house, for one thing. Dee. And Em. And Ellie, wherever you are.”
“Fucking Jackson in the backyard last I saw,” Em chuckles.
Tom and Dee roll their eyes.
“And you know my strategy about flashing situations, which is to avoid patterns.”
“What about the bar play, Steven?” Tom challenges. “Dee, you’re awful about that. And all that hotel shit you guys do.”
Steve responds, “Those seem to be better controlled recently. Phil’s place, Dee.”
“Oh, that’s right,” Tom muses. “She said it’s a big improvement. Too bad I can’t play.”
Shrugging his shoulders, Steve comments, “Rank may have its privileges, Tom, but it certainly has its responsibilities, too.”
“Gawd, Steve. You sure don’t need to…
Ding Dong!
Em has jumped out of her chair. “That has to be Toby and Caroline. I need to get it. We’re done, right?”
“We are now!” Steve answers. “Go!”
=====
“Oh, Steve’s goin’ to love her!” Emily chuckles to herself after checking the door monitor. Toby and apparently this Caroline person are standing by to be admitted into the Albertson-Foster den of iniquity. A professional athlete, it’s evident even on the camera that her workout-toned body is accented by what Steve calls a “palomino complexion”, a light golden tan with very light blonde tresses. Quite striking, actually.
“How in the heck did Toby score that?” Em chuckles to herself again.
And one other thing. Caroline is nude. Just sandals.
Emily flings open the door, grabs Caroline by the wrist and yanks her into the foyer hopefully before she has been seen by somebody they don’t want.
There’s a little panic in Em’s admonishment, “Ohgawd, Caroline? Didn’t Tobe and El tell you you couldn’t be naked out front? We’ve had problems!”
“Well that’s a fine howdy-do. You must be Emily. Toby and Em speak highly of you. We are going to get quite acquainted, we are! Problems?”
“There’s a city cop out to get us. Steve’s been working with his supervisor to get the guy to back off with only limited success. You lucked out I guess. He mustn’t have been parked down the street this time.”
“Didn’t see ‘im,” Toby confirms. “Hi, Em.” He leans into her for a kiss and butt squeeze.
“Hi, Tobe. Caroline, it is a real pleasure to have you here. Your advance team has prepped us for what to expect.”
“Advance team?”
“Ellie.”
Caroline chuckles. “Toby warned me you guys can be a little goofy.”
“Oh, just wait ’til you meet Steve. This way. Toby, are you guys staying over?”
Toby glances to Caroline. She answers, “Well I can’t. We have a tournament going and start the first pairings at oh-six-hundred tomorrow. Toby will be going home in the morning with Ellie, though.”
“You don’t have a starter for that?”
“Yes, but I have to show my face.”
Emily glances down. “Among other things?”
Caroline laughs.
Emily has shown them to her and Jackson’s room for Toby to drop off his satchel and strip before joining the others.
Em advises Caroline, “We have a tradition for when guests meet me for the first time.”
“Watch out, Car!” Toby chuckles.
“Oh?”
Emily lunges into Caroline, pushing her backwards and down onto the bed.
“Spread ’em, sister!”
Caroline starts to laughing as she scoots back on the bed to acknowledge and invite Emily in her joyful “offer” of cunnilingus.
“We’re going to get along just fine!” Caroline exclaims to her through her laughter. Car reaches down to caress Em’s hair and shoulders. “Ohgawd. You’re no amateur! Oh! Oh!”
Emily lifts her head to broadly grin to Caroline.
Toby is chuckling to himself while he finishes undressing. He suspected this was going to be Caroline’s welcome. He leaves the girls to their pleasuring and heads to the patio to greet the rest of the gang.
“Hey, Tobe!” Steve chuckles to him as he steps out onto the deck. “I thought you were bringing your special lady!”
“You try so damn hard to be funny, Steven,” Toby moans. “You know exactly where she is!”
The gathered group laughs in confirmation. Emily’s reputation with welcoming newbies is well-established at this point as the fourple approaches their first anniversary.
Ellie is still out on the lawn alternatively pretending to play croquet, and screwing Jackson. She heard the laughter and glanced over to the patio to see what was going on. She sees that her husband has just arrived, excuses herself from the from-behind standing coitus with Jackson, and runs across the yard to welcome her Toby.
“I can assume Car’s with Emily,” El grins to Toby as she steps into an affectionate hug, pushing her mons against his thigh.
“Safe assumption. Em’s a mess.”
“But I suspect Caroline didn’t object.”
“Not one bit. Car wanted to take her right there at the front door.”
“Don’t tell me…”
“Yeah, she did. Emily scolded her for it.”
“I warned you guys about that. Playing out front isn’t safe for the foreseeable.”
Toby sighs, “Yeah. You want me to fix another gin for you?”
“Thank you, but I see Steven coming back out with drinks for both of us. You gonna play tonight? Caroline was planning on it. She wants a helping of Stevie. How was the banquet?”
“A bore. And it happened again.”
“Oh, dear. Anybody important?”
“Dr. Ambrose. He asked when our divorce was going to be final.”
“Shit. We’re going to have to put on that little show pretty soon.”
“Car’s not comfortable with that idea just yet. She wants to, but thinks she needs a little more time since she’s so new at the club.”
“I have an idea.”
“Oh?”
“They know she’s openly bi. How about the next time, I’m her date?”
“Genius!”
Ellie chuckles, “And I have a piece of paper that says that!”
“You do!” Toby laughs. “Is Debbie here?”
“No. She has closing shift. Their new hours have really put a crimp in her and Sandy’s ability to play on weekends.”
“Sure as shit has,” Steve complains as he hands Toby’s beverage and El’s refill to the two. “I don’t like it ’cause it means that the four of us don’t have nearly the opportunities to be together, much less have fun outside the house. I’d like to do Phil’s again while the nights are still warm.”
